    Trip Central ad said - 50% discount on Beverage package for cruise but they would only give 40% as per cruise company. I think that is false advertising.

    I am at the airport in Puerto Vallarta with my elderly mother. No one has come to pick us up from the airport even though we have pre paid for the shuttle.
    I cannot get a hold of anyone at trip central to help us. Not answering emails and their phones are closed
    Our flight was **** *** and the **** *** representative has now helped us.
    **** ******* ** ** ********** ******** *******. ***** **** *** ****. Never again.
    **** *** **** ****. Will never use this ******** company again.
    Overcharged us and gave us a higher price that we as quoted by the time the credit card charges were entered.
    Absolutely awful.

    We're sorry to hear about your experience. The documents we sent to you on January 30 clearly outlined how and where to find the representative upon arrival at your destination, as stated on page 4 of your ticket.
    When you attempted to contact us, it was Saturday evening, and like every business, we also have rights to have time off. However, we did not receive any missed calls from you. If you were unable to reach us, you could have contacted ******* directly for assistance.
    Regarding the cost of your package, you booked it yourself online and were able to see the total price BEFORE proceeding. When entering your credit card information, the system asked for confirmation of the amount you were agreeing to pay. In the terms and condition box, clearly mentioned that you, as the payer, is aware and accepting such and such price for this package. If you do not "check mark" that box, the system doesn't allow you to pay.
    These prices are not set by us—the tour operator determines them, and we do not handle or process your payment. If you check your credit card transaction, you’ll see that your funds were sent directly to the supplier, not to us. If the price jumped during the booking, it's not our fault, the price fluctuates due to demand by the suppliers, not us.
    It seems that you didn’t review the price at the time of booking or go through the tickets and documents you received afterward, and you are now holding us responsible for it. For future bookings, we highly recommend working with an agent rather than booking online to ensure a smoother experience and to help avoid misunderstandings regarding your travel documents.

    I am extremely disappointed, but not surprised, by your response. Instead of taking responsibility for the issues I've faced, you're deflecting blame and implying that I'm at fault.
    Let me reiterate: I did review the price, and I did go through the documents. However, I acknowledge that I might have missed the price change. Nevertheless, I believe it's reasonable to expect that the price would remain the same after I clicked on it. I didn't expect the price to change suddenly, and I feel that this lack of transparency is unfair.
    Regarding your claim that I received an email on January 30th, I have no record of it. I check my inbox and spam folder regularly, and I'm certain I would have seen it if it had been sent.
    I'm also shocked that your company doesn't provide an after-hours contact number or emergency support. Travel-related issues can arise at any time, and it's reasonable to expect some level of support outside of regular business hours. Despite my repeated attempts to call and email, I was left without assistance, which exacerbated the problem.
    Your suggestion that I should have worked with a travel agent for a smoother experience is unhelpful and unfair. Your website is designed for online bookings, and it's reasonable to expect a functional and transparent process. Shifting the responsibility to the customer or suggesting that they should have used a different booking method doesn't address the issues with your company's systems and communication.
    Your company's role as an intermediary doesn't absolve you of responsibility for ensuring a smooth booking experience. I expect a higher level of accountability and customer support.
    Furthermore, I had purchased cancellation insurance through your company, specifically to mitigate risks like this. However, when I inquired about canceling, I was told that you couldn't guarantee a refund. This contradicts the very purpose of cancellation insurance and has left me feeling misled and unprotected.
    I'm not the only one who has experienced issues with TripCentral. A quick online search reveals a pattern of similar complaints from other customers. This suggests a systemic problem with your company's customer service and communication. I hope you'll take my experience seriously and take steps to address these ongoing issues.

    Trip central is okay, but the one problem I had when I booked is it said one price but I didn't notice that when I finished the price was higher. When I contacted Trip central they said there was nothing they could do. I checked other websites and I could have gotten it at the lower price. And when it went down even lower I asked if they did a price match they said no. I probably won't use them again.

    For this reason, our website is designed as a two-step process to notify clients of any price changes that may occur. To clarify, the initial price displayed on our website's first page is not updated in real-time. When you proceed by clicking "Book Now," you are redirected to the tour operator’s page, where the price displayed is the most recent and updated directly by the airline. Before entering your credit card information, you will see the final total amount, ensuring that you are paying the most accurate price.
    We understand this can be frustrating, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. However, due to our policy, we do not price match. As mentioned, the prices on our website are not set by us—tour operators determine pricing, flight schedules, hotel availability, and other details, and we have no control over these changes. When you complete your payment, the funds are transferred directly to the tour operator’s account, and tripcentral.ca does not handle the transaction. Therefore, we are unable to honor outdated prices or provide a price match after payment has been made.
    Additionally, charter bookings are non-refundable, and we make every effort to inform clients of this policy—both before entering payment details on our website and in the invoice after booking. Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel, change, rebook, or modify charter bookings unless the client has insurance or a supplier’s waiver. If you purchased insurance at the time of booking, please contact our call center for guidance on how to proceed.
    We regret that this experience was not a positive one for you, and we are sorry to hear that you will not be using our services again. However, we hope this explanation has helped clarify how tripcentral.ca operates within the travel industry.

    ***** ******* of Trip Central provided excellent service arranging our package deal involving flights and a week-long stay in London UK. She was able to make arrangements to delay our return flight as we requested. There were a few delays completing the transaction as I consulted with my spouse. Ms. ******* respected this process without applying pressure to finalize the sale. I would welcome booking again with this company.

    I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent booking experience with Trip Central.ca on December 10th 2024. I consulted with ****** to book a vacation for January 5th 2025, for myself and a friend. While we were undecided on a destination , ****** provided valuable insight into various resorts and explained the pros and cons based on our budget of $1900 per person.
    During our conversation, ****** emphasized the high demand for travel right now and strongly advised me to contact my friend and make a decision tonight as she would be in the office until 9pm that night since she is on the West Coast. she suggested that prices were rising and will continue to get higher due to large demand for travel that time . She even informed me that properties were selling quicker than she had ever seen them sell out before. Of course i was panicked and afraid we would not get anything so i called ****** back and conferenced my friend in so that we could agree on a destination and book something . ****** recommended a resort she liked in Punta Cana but said it was sold out already. while we were discussing other properties and destinations , she interjected by saying that the punta cana one just became available and that perhaps there was a cancellation . she encouraged us to secure it while we could as it was a great property and would go fast. Although the price of $2099 exceeded our budget she advised to book without hesitation and not to look back on it, as it will just go up in price. Feeling both pressured and a sense of urgency at this point we agreed to book it reluctantly. The following day i checked the tripcentral.ca website and low and behold there was our resort , the exact same trip for $50 cheaper , i sent an email to ****** but no response came back. Today i checked again and it is $700 cheaper same room type premium pool, same exact trip. This is a drastic price drop for a property that we were told was sold out. ** **** **** ** *** ********* *

    Thank you for your note. We are sorry that you were not completely satisfied with your booking experience. All our tripcentral.ca agents first priority is to help serve the client and offer professional care and do their best to make recommendations based on the customers needs. The price of the packages and the availability is not predictable and controlled by our tour operator partners. Inventory can sell out and appear at any time and same with the price , it could have gone up and not down. So for that we can appreciate how frustrating it can be bue our agent would never direct a client to make a decision knowing that the price was going to drop. Not having that knowledges does not make our staff a "liar" seeing as we do not know when and what prices can do. Our agents do their best to get clients the best value for their money. Selling at a higher price and being deceitful would not be advantageous to either the agent or the company at risk of upsetting a client and not getting your repeat buisiness. It's just not the tripcentral.ca way ! You did mention that this was the hotel you wanted to book and it seems that the decision was made in the end, even with hesitation, the transaction took place . Once a booking is made the supplier does now allow us to rebook at the lower price so that is why it is best to make decisions and not look back.     To be clear , I am fully aware that prices go up and down with Trip Central. This is not what I was referring to. Also to be clear this resort was recommended by your agent, we were open to her suggestions. My issue is how she misled us to believe that all trips were selling out so fast at high prices. She pressured us , we wanted to WAIT !!! She advised that this property was sold out , and while on the call while we were searching for additional properties, this one miraculously became available again. She told us most likely cancellations and if we wanted to hurry and book. Yet when i checked next day it was still available ...and the next day ....and the next day....at lower prices. She forced us into booking. I have hard time believeing it was sold out that night, came available all of a sudden and stayed available weeks after....if you think this is a proper way of running your business then you are criminals. Give truthful information, I had told her i wanted to wait a few days and see. We are customers that lean on your sales agents expertise , and dont tell me she did not know that we could have waited . She wants to make as much commission as possible and we both know that. I will advise friends *** ****** ***** to be aware of your ***** *** sneaky way of doing business. As far as price fluctuations I completley understand that , this is not just for Trip central but anytime you book with anyone . That is not my issues. my issue is i wanted to wait, she said things were going so fast and that these properties were sold out , yet they came available the next day all of them including one we booked at less money. She should have been truthful and said we could watch price for few days but she said I would book it and not look back , knowing it was overpriced. * **** ******* **** **** ****** **** **** ******* *** **** **** *** ** ******* ***** ***** ********
