    I sent a tenant an invoice to pay his rent because he was unable to to pay through e-transfer at the time. Once he made the payment to Wave Financial they took the money, held it and did not pay me because they said I could not provide all the documents they wanted as proof that I was authorized to collect the rent money.
    I requested that they refund my tenant his money back and I have not heard whether the money was refunded or not.
    Afterward they charged me with $150.18 for 'fraud' and 'absent card' dispute by someone called ***** ****. I told them I have no idea who this person is and my bank will investigate the charge.
    ** *** **** ** ******* **** **** *********, I used to use them for invoicing and I have since closed my account permanently. ** *** ******* **** **** **** **** *********** ******* **** **** ** **** **** **** ** ***** ****** **** **** **** **** ********* ** ** **** *** ***** *** ******* **** **** *****. It has been almost a month now since this issue began and is not yet resolved.

    ***** **** ** *** ****** I was a long time customer of there's with no issues. I even emailed one of their representatives who told me as long as I have a signed contract payments would go through. I invoice my client thinking everything is going to be fine then suddenly they refunded the client and shut down my account. No explanation. It's the end of the month bills are due. No history of refunds and previous successful payments. Nothing has changed so why suddenly high risk? I gave them a chance by emailing them they ignored all my emails. Finally, after multiple emails and chats, they respond with a canned generic email template. * ** * ***** ***** ******** I told them about the struggles of economic equality. Fake virtue signaling marketing to freelancers and those building their businesses *** ***** ***** ***** ********** **** ******* *** *** **** ** **** ***** * ****** **** *** **** **** ******* * ***** **** ****** ***** **** *** this is a ridiculous and dangerous business practice *** **** *** ***** ***** *** *** ***** ********. STOP claiming on your site you're Canadian and support small businesses! *** *** ***** ********** ** ********* ********* **** **** *********. Shown with terrible customer service, pulling the rug from underneath people, and 0 explanation with no chance to prove oneself. It didn't even matter that I was ready to provide confirmation of the contract and documents. On top of that, they didn't even refund the full amount to my client so I need to deduct that $10.05 and somehow find a new payment provider in a short amount of time. It also made me look bad. Luckily my client's understanding this could have cost me thousands in business and taken me out if I wasn't smart. ************ ******** *** ******* ******** * **** ** **** *** **** **** ***** **** ***** ****** ******* **** ***** **** **** ***** *** ****** **** They're probably going to respond with a generic copy and paste to this like the other comments which will prove my point.

    My customer never recieved their credit card refund thru wave. They closed my account. Said they were sending a refund that never arrived.
