    Wave Financial completely failed as a service. Payroll stopped working and there has been no resolution for over a month. No customer support, no communication. They abandoned their clients without any explanation or help. Strongly do not recommend.

    Payroll has been inoperative for five weeks and not a single contact from Wave. Multiple help tickets, DM leaders on LinkedIn. Doesn't matter; no contact or plan. **** *****

    I’ve been using several Wave Financial services since 2020, including their Payroll services for over a year. However, recent changes to their Payroll software have significantly impacted my experience. The communication has become minimal, and the chat on their website is virtually non-functional. Moreover, they haven’t provided timely solutions to my issues. As a result, I’m still unable to run payroll for the month of June, and there’s no end in sight to this problem.

    **** ** *** * ******* **** *** ******* *********** The corporate number is just a repeating message machine. You can not contact them. They send emails asking for confidential information that no legitimate company would request while not asking for legitimate information. Our USA based company has had nothing but problems with the app and not customer support, not even when clicking the support help button. *** *** **** ******** ** * *** ** ********

    Terrible service. ** *** ***** **** payroll with this company. They would randomly stop the payroll and only inform the customer at the last minute. They also have no support at all.

    Wave and Wave Payroll was (******** ** ***) a great accounting and payroll application. However, in June of 2025 they switched their payroll processing to ***** ************ and it was a disaster. They didn't tell their clients the switch was coming. They didn't tell or train their outsourced help desk people about the change nor did they train nor did they give them any information on the new system. They also changed the time of the funding of the payroll taxes due with out telling their clients. They changed the Timesheet input system and removed the ability to post time in total for clients not using their time tracking system. By the last week in June, the issues have become so rampant they actually turned off their help desk chatbot and help desk support team all together leaving their clients with no place to get help. ***** ** ****** ****** ** ******** * **** **** **** * * **** ******* I love their accounting/GL system it is just how the payroll switch was done and how their support has been eliminated because of the switch.

I was happy with the product and decided to pay for the whole year to save a little money. I'm a small business and had done my research and testing before signing up. I was planning to also use them for payroll as well. I had some simple questions before finishing payroll setup, opened a ticket and no response. Tried chat, no response. Tried replying via email to one of their marketing campaigns, no response. Opened another ticket, no response. *** ** ****** *** *** **** ***** ******* ***** negative experiences with trying to get support, issues with payroll, issues with getting in touch with literally anyone at the company. In hindsight I'm glad I didn't get payroll set up and I've moved to another product now. I'm out $170, *** ******** ** ***** ***** ** ***** **** * *** *** ***** Lesson learned. ********* **** ***** ******* **** ***** ****** * ******** (I've now closed my account, ** ****** *** ******* ** ********** **** ****** ** ****** ** ***** **** ** ******* ********** **** **** **** ** ******* *** * **** ******* *** I was really ignored for months by this company.

    I’ve had a deeply frustrating experience with Wave Financial. While the platform promises ease and automation, the reality has been nothing but delays, lack of transparency, and poor customer support.
    When issues arise — especially related to payments or banking integrations — there is no real sense of urgency or ownership. Getting a clear answer is next to impossible, and support is largely email-based, slow, and non-committal. I’ve lost both time and confidence in this company, *** * ***** ******* ***** ***** ******** ****** ** **** ********* ** *********** *** ************** *** ********* ** ***** 
    It’s unfortunate because the platform’s layout is user-friendly, but when you need real help, you’re left hanging. I expected much better from a company managing sensitive financial data.

    Signed up for Wave to try it out, immediately knew it couldn't do what I needed. Since I am used to **********. So I requested a refund, and radio silence for over a month.
