    My daughter inadvertently reactivated a dormant account from years back. Imagine our surprise when a box showed up at our doorstep and we were charged accordingly. MY daughter DID NOT order anything. The food that showed up was food we were unable to eat and most of it went to the dog. They did refund HALF of what I was billed. This is **** ***** ******** ******** *** not a model that seems sustainable. Will never do business with this outfit again.

    Beware when adding a payment method with this company. My daughter had an account and had canceled it. They called and tried to offer her a deal and told them she was not interested they reactivated her account and charged her. She called their customer service and they claimed she agreed on the phone (she didn’t) and their agent sent her an email saying she agreed to an order and would be charged (it doesn’t) and then only offered 50% back or credit.

Customer service is the worst, they do not even answer the calls. They even sent the food that I have an allergy to

    Have different rules if you try to cancel before first delivery, resulting in being charged for and receiving something you don’t want despite following the cancellation instructions in the FAQ. I tried to contact them to amend the issue and they were very **** and kept quoting their terms and conditions…which tell you to follow the instructions on the FAQ!

    Chefs Plate should get -10 (MINUS 10). **** *** *************** ************** *** ******. My first Chefs Plate order and I received an incorrect order. Instead of Vegetarian, I received a Non-Veg meal box. A day before, I deactivated my account since my friend also had a bad experience, as she was charged despite a free meal box. When I had a chat with customer support, they said they were unable to see my dietary preference on my account record, which clearly states that their Website and database are highly useless and pathetic. When I reactivated my account, I saw the default Veg preference and gave the customer support the proof, but Chefs Plate very rudely and uncaringly dismissed me and said we cannot help and refund as the box had been delivered. ******** *** *************** ************* *******. I need my refund as the incorrect food delivery has not only wasted the food, but my entire convenience and money.

    Disappointing service, team didn’t fix issue after speaking three times on chat and because they didn’t execute the service correct on their side myself and others didn’t get food delivered as a result.

    There’s a glitch in your app and your staff doesn’t give a solution. We ordered veg meals and non-veg meals were sent to us. When we called to complain, no solutions offered. Very disappointed as we were excited to try the meals but didn’t receive it and moreover it’s strictly against our religion to bring meat home. But unknowingly we brought the box inside, ** ** *** **** *** ******** * **** But l think no one really cares. I called, l did chat and know I’m writing review. Let’s see, if we’ll get any solution. Waiting to hear from someone who can actually help to get refund or veg meals.

    When ordering my receipt came out to $59.80 later that week I looked at my credit card and I have been charged $139.80. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and contacted customer support. They let me know that they would fix the glitch I received. But wouldn't refund me the difference.
    No other options where given. So I contacted my credit card company to cancel the transaction.

    I had an old chefs Plate account, and opened it up to look at meals. I put some in my cart to see what the cost would be, and then decided not to get them, There was an expired credit card on file, which I did not update, because I didnt want to order, and didnt think they could charge me with an expired card! Well, they did!! No follow up email to say "thanks for ordering" or anything to make me aware.
    I called customer service after they got delivered and they said there was nothing they could do! ******** Never again! **** * ***** ****** ********* ** ****** *** *** *******

    Chefs Plate - ** *** *** **** ****** *** **** deliveries ** randomly show up months after you cancel your subscription. I canceled my subscription over 6 months ago and 2 weeks ago I randomly got a delivery of meals. I called immediately after the delivery to let them know and they said "keep it as a gift" and ensured me it was a glitch and my account appears to be canceled. The next week I received ANOTHER delivery. I once again called immediately and the customer support confirmed that I WAS charged for bot deliveries. I requested my money back as I did NOT order and with food allergies I was unable to consume the food anyway. She agreed to give me the current week refund but said she could not refund for last week even though I called them the prior week as well. A manager called the next day and offered me a PARTIAL refund which is NOT ACCEPTABLE as I did NOT order this service/food. When I got upset about this he hung up the phone on me.
