I am filing a complaint against Drop Technologies Inc. regarding their ********** gift card redemption system and complete lack of customer support. 1. ****** **** **** ********** ****** ** ********* Drop allows users to redeem earned points for gift cards every Thursday at 10 AM. However, every single week, I log in right at 10 AM to redeem a gift card, and each time, I go through the process, receive a “Claiming gift card…” message, and then get an immediate “Just missed it!” message. This has happened for weeks in a row without fail, making it impossible to redeem my rewards. It gives the false impression that I am successfully claiming a gift card, only to block me at the last second. I have ******** screenshots showing this happening in real time. 2. Drop’s Customer Support is Completely Unresponsive I have emailed Drop’s support team multiple times asking for clarification, but they have never responded to a single inquiry. There is no transparency on how the redemption process works, how many cards are available, or why they disappear instantly. 3. My Request for Resolution I am requesting that Drop Technologies: 1. Provide an explanation for why their system ******* indicates I am redeeming a gift card before blocking me. 2. Address the redemption issue so that users who have earned points can actually redeem them. 3. Respond to customer inquiries instead of ignoring them. 4. This is a rewards program that gives points based on credit card spending. The "rewards" used to be easily redeemable. Now however, they are given away Thursday mornings and "sell out" in mere seconds, rendering it impossible to get any such rewards. *** ********* ** ***** ******* ****** ** ******* *** *** **** ******* **** *** **** *** **** **** * ******** ***** Here's why: At the $25 gift card reward, that's 50 rewards. At a $5 gift card reward a mere 250 people geta reward. Their website claims they have 5 million customers... at an average gift card amount of $15, that's about 150 people a month who can get a card. Divided by 5,000,000 customers, that means it would take 2,777 YEARS for each customer to get a $15 gift card.Initial Complaint

There have been no redemptions for months, possibly years. Ever since drop changed how you can redeem points has been awful. I had claimed gift cards before They switched and my cards were never give to me but they credited my account. Now you can only redeem on Thursdays at 1:00. I was on my phone 10 minutes prior and still didn’t get one. **** * *****Initial Complaint

This business runs the Drop app. You link credit cards to the app and get points when you shop. They used to give gift cards for those points. For the past year or so, they collect the points and do not give gift cards. They are only given out on Thursdays and are always “sold out.” I have $39 worth of accumulated points that the company will not release to me.Initial Complaint

I have been a drop member since 2019. But for over 1 year(since early 2023) they are not paying *** ******** in exchange of our personal information and activity. Drop is a company that helps you earn rewards points for shopping through their interface. You can link credit cards and automatically receive points for qualified purchases or click to shop through the link in their app and receive rewards points that way. Once you have enough points, you can redeem for a gift card. I have had $100 worth of points for months but drop has updated their model to only be able to request a gift card on Thursdays at noon instead anytime as advertised when I signed up. I log on every Thursday at noon, click the link, and the app spins and crashes with a message that there are no more gift cards available and to try next week. I have been experiencing this problem every week for months, unable to redeem a single gift card. Drop collects credit/debit card and financial institution information to track your spending. Then awards you points that they claim you may redeem for one $25 gift card each week on Thursday at 1pm EST. I have been using their rewards program for 12 months and every Thursday I log in at approximately 10:30am MST to wait for gift card purchasing to open. Firstly, not all gift cards offered are $25, some are only $5. Secondly, it is impossible to redeem a gift card. They claim they have 6,000,000 points worth of gift cards available weekly, but each week gift cards sell out in less than one minute. I have attempted to redeem gift cards weekly while on reliable network services in multiple states and locations over the past 12 months with no success.
