Drop recently adopted a points redemption system that makes it almost impossible for users to redeem their points for gift cards. Drop allows users to link their credit card information and receive points for turning over their purchasing data, participating in surveys, and making targeted purchases with Drop's commercial partners. In turn, once users have collected enough points, they have historically been allowed to redeem those points for gift cards. This redemption process used to be instantaneous. However, earlier in 2023, Drop paused all redemptions for a period of several months. Recently, Drop resumed redemptions but only allows users to redeem their points at 10:00am on Thursdays. Drop also limits the amount of gift cards they will redeem. What has resulted is a 1-2 minute rush to redeem gift cards, which slows down the system and results in redemption errors. Drop has basically made it impossible for the vast majority of users to redeem their points. **** *** **** * **** ******** ** *********** *** ******* *********** **** *** **** ****** *** *** ****** * ********* ****** ** **** *********** **** ** ********** ****** ** ********* ******** **** ** *********** ******** ** ****** ***** ************ *** ******** ******

Drop is a mobile application that claims to provide gift cards to users in exchange for credit card info about purchases. For 4 months now, Drop has refused to pay out gift cards to users that were already earned. They recently limited gift card issuances to one day per week, on Thursdays at 1 pm, at which time the app crashes and gift cards cannot be redeemed. ********** ******** ************ I was logged in at the appropriate time and still couldn’t redeem my points for a gift card. They need to provide the gift cards that were redeemed months ago by users, otherwise the entire premise of their business model is ***********

This app has my banking information. I have collected thousands of points to redeem for gift cards and the gift cards are always “sold out”. I was able to redeem one gift card, but it had a zero balance.
