      On Jan 12, 2023 approximately 3-4 pm in parking lot of ******** ****, my boyfriend ******* ***** ******, went into ******** **** to purchase tools (he had permission to borrow my truck while I was at work). It was stolen and my GPS drone app alerted us it was being taken. ******* immediately called 911 and we spent the night assisting 3 undercover police officers on a chase through country backroads ******* **** **** ****** *** ***** ** **** **** ******* ** ** **** *********** **** *** ***********. ***** ** * ******** **** ** * **** ***** **** ***** then was abandoned on the side of the road. ** *** ****** ** *** ** **** *********** **** *** *** **** *** *** ******* ** *** ** **** ** *** **** *** *** *** ** *** ******** ***** ** ****** *** ** *** ********** ** ** * **** **** ****** *** ** *** ***** ** *** ****** 

      My truck sustained damage due to the theft such as a broken windshield, punched out door locks, tampered ignition, pulled out wires from the dash, drone app receiver was damaged, fenders were damaged, front and rear diff seals blown, water pump blew, suspension and steering is broken, fender broken, and my tailgate no longer latches. These are only the items I could tell were obviously from the theft.

      After personally taking it for an inspection I decided to proceed with the claim I opened with TD the night it was stolen. Since then my truck has been towed from mechanics, to body shop, to mechanics, and no one at TD will give me any information on the appraisers report or reasoning for refusal of repairs and at this time TD is also stating they cannot confirm or deny if my truck is covered. I was initially quoted 5 business days. It has now been 82 business days.

      I have asked to speak to management, to get reports or any information, and have thus far been ignored.

      Now they are running a special investigation into the incident and meanwhile my truck which I prepaid my premiums for is sitting at a mechanic shop and I am unable to use it.

      Insurance is through ******** ******** ********* ******* yet TD Cares is refusing the coverage for glass??

      Hi BBB,
      This is about a td insurance policy i have had with td for my home address **** ******** ***** ****** ** *** ***.

      I took this policy in 2021. I been paying regularly and also set up automated payments after the initial set up. Policy got renewed automatically and getting charged via credit card automatically as of this month. I made a call mid 9f april about the cancelation of the policy as this home is getting sold on 28th of April today, they asked me to give a call and to get the policy cancelled still they didn't mention any outstanding payments or anything and said good to call when i have the dates finalized.

      Today april 28th i made the call to cancel my policy and to get surprised they told me there is an outstanding balance of about 200 cad, they couldn't really explain how i missed the payment and even got Renewed for this current financial year.

      They keep repeating its a system error and payment got pending I may etc,, but i don't see any missed payments and regularly see credit card got charged ever monthly as its automated payment set up.

      So, i asked them if I missed a payment you should given me a ca or a payment reminder something, which actually doesn't exist as i see regular payments. So they are just arguing about system error or mistake. I asked them it could have a serious error if i had an accident or a claim during this time they would have questioned my policy coverage??

      Anyway i asked so you claim its an error from your part why don't you give an adjustment on my balance whay you claim exists, but they didn't offer any help and just said if i don't pay it gonna be on my credit file.

      So at this point i would like to request BBB to help me in this matter for a fair deal.
      I am pretty sure i got charged every month and can provide any documents you need. If Td is really firm and just want to apologize verbally i don't want, atleast a 50 percent discount as been with them all this time as a customer, i would settle.

      I had some trouble with my Td home insurance and I have contacted BBB about this issue.

      Thanks for your help , someone from Td contacted me from the escalation department and understood the issue and told me will settle with  around a 96 cad final payment instead of 205.
      I agreed and made the payment  but he promised me will send a letter regarding the same and the issue will be resolved with 24-48 hours.

      Everything went well only thing pending is the letter.
      Once i receive it i wish to say thank you for helping me and setting this up in a fair manner.., But just waiting for the final letter of settlement.

      I am writing to seek compensation from TD insurance for the constant issues with my car **** **** ******** **** ***** **********. Despite paying a monthly policy for my car insurance, I have been ****** to pay out of pocket to get my car fixed multiple times because of the issues caused by TD insurance auto body shop repair **********.

      I have contacted my insurance company multiple times since last year 2022 to address this issue, but they have yet to come to a satisfactory solution or even address the problem. This has been an ongoing issue **** *** ****** ** *********** ************** ************ *** ********* *******  * ******* **** TD insurance auto body repair is responsible for the issues with my car and ****** be held accountable for the costs associated with repairing it. It is unacceptable **** * **** *** ** **** *** ********* ****** ** ***** ********** when I have been ********** paying my monthly insurance premiums.

      Are car was hit ** * ***** ****** infront of are house at night when we called TD we were told car had to be towed to td auto body shop the car sat for 4 weeks i told them to tow it to a **** dealer because thats where i wanted the work to be done and gave them the address they forgot. I went in again told them to tow it and gave them the address again took 2 weeks for them to tow it after 2 weeks of telling them i wanted it towed elsewhere just got it towed today and they lost the keys to the vehicle every person we have talked to has given different information and been ********** the entire time the amount of mis information ** ********** like being told they will replace the value of the carseats for the children to then be told its a max of 300 per.
      And Being told they can use used car parts to fix the vehicle and then to be told the lost value of the vehicle by now having a accident history ***** ****** *** **** ***** **** *** * **** *** ** **** ** ***

      Claim *********. In the morning of Feb 28,2023, my partner and I discovered damage with dents and yellow paint on the driver side of our car, legally parked on a residential street overnight. That night a snow plow and a garbage truck were working that road, we have confirmation from the City ** ******** The City also confirmed our case falls under direct compensation plan and asked our insurance to call (not email) them. We filed a claim with TD, with adjuster named Maninder, and for the first 6 weeks they stalled the process, did not contact the City and gave us excuses that their phones were down etc. and that’s why the claim was taking so long. On week 6 after filing the claim we get a call from Roy B. stating he solicited a third party opinion regarding our case, determined the damage was caused by an immovable object and now he is opening an investigation without prejudice. We did not give him consent to share our personal information regarding the incident with the third party and we have concerns regarding this third party’s expertise. We asked him to call the City adjuster who offered to provide him with the snow plow contractor information and confirmed we fall under direct compensation plan, Roy B. refused, sending an email to the City instead, and continued with the investigation . Roy B. refuses to communicate via email and instead calls us. When speaking to us he does not answer our questions, ***** *** **** **** *** *********** ********. He decided to collect paint chips from our car on week 8 after filing the claim. We raised concerns about how the paint will be evaluated because we think it’s from a service vehicle and they have different paints than car paints on the blades. Roy B. refuses to address our concerns. Instead he calls us after business hours *** ********* ** **** ** *** ***** ********* ********. Complaints to TD made no difference, we feel helpless and taken advantage of.

      I have an income property and had to let the tenants leave due to structural issues. One of the tenants was long term tenant before I purchased the property. The units had very expensive heat pumps, they were stolen and major damage to the units. Td insurance refused my claim due to failure to inform them that the units are now vacant. I escalated the issue and didn’t get anywhere, * *** ********* **** my claim was handled from high risk claim department, the agent had found a reason to reject my claim after 3 months of investigation. After all , I continued to pay my mortgage and taxes and couldn’t enter the units until the investigation is done with. I had to move on because I was paying high bills. The claim was rejected based on the units being vacant, Td continued to charge me over $150/month until I received a letter in the mail few weeks back advising me the my coverage will be void as of April 12 due to the units being vacant. Td knows that the units are vacant and refused my claim on that nature back on august of 2022, yet they waited till march of 2023 to cancel my policy. This have costed me lots of money, I have few property with them and was under the impression that after the denied my claim that my policy is void. I didn’t receive any cancellation form or was informed that the policy is still open and I’m being charged for it until middle of march. I have asked Td to reimburse me since august and they refused. Td will use the policy against you, they have trained professionals that will find any clues in your policy to either refuse your claim or keep charging you. ***** ******** ******* ********** *** ******* **** **** ***** ****** ** * ****** ** **** ******* **** ** ********** *******

      Tried to get insurance on my car for 2 weeks only and then back on storage insurance. Kept getting mail with a premium for the whole year which I didn’t ask for. Every time I call I get a different story. First they insure car for whole year. Not what I asked for. Then told they can’t insure for just 2 weeks which they later said they could do and they can’t put storage insurance on at end of the 2 weeks which they later said they could. Then they tripled to cost of my storage insurance in retaliation. I have 4 copies of insurance letters from them with different prices. Three are for full year coverage fees and one is for full year storage insurance. I can’t get them to understand I just want 2 weeks driving insurance and then storage insurance.

      My house was damaged in hurricane Fiona and insurance company is not responding to communication. They hired a different insurance adjuster as I had many complaints about the one assigned to me. I have not even received reimbursement for food. Please help. I'm at wits end as this has been 6 months. My home was deemed unlivable as well.

      ** ****** car was in a minor fender bender in December of 2022. We contacted TD to begin an insurance claim. They contacted a local auto body shop to perform the repair and we were instructed to drop the car off by TD who would handle payments to the auto body shop. With the repairs now done, TD has yet to pay the auto body shop and our claim is in limbo with TD. TD has not replied to our emails and calls in 2 weeks and our car remains repaired at the shop, close to 3 months after we dropped it off. Escalating the claim with TD 3 times yielded nothing.
