      Freedom Mobile provides worst customer service ever. Their call Center employees have no training and cannot resolve any issue of a customer. I signed up for two lines but when I received my first bill I saw that they are charging for three lines. They are charging for one of the temporary numbers assigned at the time of signing. With the porting of my numbers from earlier cell service provider the temporary number should have gone away. Any number of calls you make they do not understand. On top of that they have charged me for connection fee though as per contract it was waived.
      I regret my decision to switch to this cell service provider.

      If you want the worst service, you should join them!
      The phone won’t work the moment you leave one grid in the city, it will switch to 3G hundred times a day. They will get you on the cheap plan and then find million other reasons why should you pay extra. And by the way, the customer service is bunch of untrained ******** staff who need to put you on hold to read a manual in order to answer you!

      I regret switching! I switched to freedom mobile because I travel a lot and saw they had great coverage and plans for roaming. I went to Arizona May 1st for a month and bought a data roaming plan with a $100 roaming fee cap. I got the warning that I was at 90% of the cap on May 25th, so I went online to purchase more. When I went to pay for more, the site forced me to take off the cap before being able to purchase additional roaming data. After I made the payment, I thought I would be covered for the rest of the trip (5 days).
      Turns out that my area wasn't covered by freedom mobile and couldn't even get cel service. Then the next day I got a bill for $588!! I spent hours on the phone, repeating myself of this issue to over a dozen different reps and kept getting the run around, from different supervisors. My main issue is why have $100 cap if it is not honoured? How did it go from $100 to $588 in 2 days without even having cel service?! They finally agreed to knock off $200 so I could get access to my phone again, with the agreement that a higher up supervisor / manager would reach out to discuss this issue and come to a more reasonable outcome. I have yet to hear from someone....
      Very deceptive business practices. Terrible customer service and awful coverage fro travelling. Will be switching asap.

      Shoddy service (unreliable, problems with service and repair, endless wait-times in virtual chat without any resolution). Even over text, customer service is **** *** insulting, and recently **** ** ** ******** after re-charging the same amount of a "goodwill" discount that I was offered after they had failed to fix a problem with my voicemail that went on for five months. **** ** *** *** *** ***** *** ****** ******** ** *** ******** ****** ******e.

      I went to our local Freedom Mobile store in Woodstock Ontario to look into purchasing a prepaid sim for my elderly aunts new cell phone. We tested a sim from a spare phone that he had in the store into my simple "Easyfone". It cycled first to nationwide (no signal) and then caught the freedom network so I went ahead and purchased the one year $129 plan. We put the new sim in my phone and set everything up. It worked for 2 minutes in the store but as soon as I got home the phone lost the network and it has not worked since. This phone has no data so it cannot be set up for WiFi calling. I spent over an hour talking with customer service and they will NOT refund my money for the plan. They sent me a contract which I did NOT digitally sign. The store agent is sympathetic but can do nothing because the purchase was made thru Freedom home office. ** ****** ****** ** ******* **** ******* *** ******** **********  I have put in a dispute with my credit card company *** *** **** **** *** as this is terrible customer service! My $158.20 needs to be refunded. This is the only fair solution to this and I will fight this until this is resolved.

      They claim to have service in major Canadian cities which they don’t have and have no explanation as to why they don’t, been waiting for over a year as to why my cell phone won’t have service in certain parts in Calgary. ***** **** *** **** ******* * ****

      ***** ***** **** **** **** **** ******** ******* ** I've been with them for 9 years as a pre paid customer so I decided to go on contract and received my first bill 4 days after signing the contract and it's due almost 3 weeks before the billing cycle ends and billed for the while cycle... I would love to know how this is even possible. I called to inquire about it and was greeting with a hang up in mid conversation. I called back and they tell me there's nothing they can do to help me and this is how they normally bill their customers. ** ***** ***** ****** ***** ** **** **** ** * ********
