      I've been with this company for almost 10 years. We have 8 phones with them, me, my wife, and 6 employees. On a recent trip to Europe I bought their $12 / day roaming plan which advertised 1GB of data. You would think that since the plan costs $12 per day it must be 1GB per day of data... nope. It's 1GB over 8 days... so $12 per day for 125 MB.
      I had a limiter on the account of $100 of roaming charges to avoid any large unexpected bills from travelling. You cannot add any roaming addons unless you disable this limiter, so I did and purchased the $12 per day add on only to come home and have a $800 bill waiting for me.
      I called support, and they could care less claiming these were valid charges and saying "best we can do for you is take $5 off your plan for 6 months". I told them that we pay Freedom around $4000 per year for all of our phones and this does not including the purchase of devices and extra add-ons... are you guys really going to lose our business over a few hundred dollars of roaming charges **** *** **? Rep said "sorry can't do anything about"

      They will not tell you the $25 plan is dependant on autodeposit. Autodeposit comes out at a bad time of the month. In addition when you pay your bill on their website they will not credit your account and you will be unable to pay your bill. When called they tell you that if you used their website to pay that it would be instant but its not. They will be unable to locate your payment even though it clearly shows it on your bank. When called back they will tell you that you have to go to the bank to reverse the charges. Who will then tell you that you need to wait another two days before you can open the ***** dispute. Only went to them so that I could have underground service.

      Bought the insurance plan to cover damage. Been paying 9 dollars a month for nearly 2 years. Went to get my screen repaired only to find out it had to be prepayed with a credit card in my name. Wasn't told that when I signed up. Absolutely no help dealing with it.

      I signed up with freedom and when I went home I had no service. I live in ayr,on ..not in the boonies, but don't get service. Called in and no one is willing to help. Asked for a supervisor and got "Bob". He was so rude and condescending. Told me wasn't his problem and over spoke me through the entire conversation. Just kept saying it's my fault and do I have any other questions. Didn't once say let's see what we can do or apologize. ***** ******** *** ****** ** *** **********

      Don’t fall for the Big Gig Roam. I placed a local call when I was in Dublin, Ireland (included in the plan) but because I did not add + in front of the number (I copied the number from a website) I was told by Freedom that it was a call to the USA and I was charged over 100CAD. They refused to accept it was an Irish call even though my ****** clearly says “Dublin” under the number in my call history and I spoke with the Irish business I was intending to contact. This should be illegal. They also suspended my service with no prior notice because my account reached 470$. The reason it was so high is because they charge so much for international phone service. Unbelievable.

      Ordered three SIM cards from them online. One was for my older parents and the other two for my children as emergency phones. Tried to activate the first SIM in a phone, no luck. Spent three hours online trying to get it to work and then trying just to get a refund. Tried that SIM card in three phones. Online chat was transferred more than I can count. Finally they told me they could not refund me online and I needed to go to a store.
      I have had a smartphone since 2012. Not new to this.
      Is it wrong to ask for money back that was paid for a service not delivered? What about my three hours time?

      Do not upgrade phone from freedom moblie!! They charge you $45 connection fee. nonrefundable. and sales will not tell you either. you get punished to be a good customer and try to give them business.

      Used to have good customer service. Not any more.
      One of black Friday offers, *** *****, Freedime cliams that you save $816, based on retail price of $1944. Retail prices for black Friday is $1379.99.
      You still save a couple of hundereds.
      So sad ??
