    This company has the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. I cancelled and advised them that I would NOT renew my policy with them on March 1st. policy was not due until March 30th. I followed the instructions several times, NOT my fault if their program did not work, I cancelled 30 days before renewal. they have put me to collections for 116.00 saying that I did not cancel correctly . It is the principle I refused to give them the name of my new insurance company as its not their business, so they are now telling me I have to pay them. This is absolutely the most frustrating company. Even on March 30th. I again told them I was not renewing as the fee went up by $1000.00 dollars. Rediculous.     After I called to split a payment to make sure I could fulfil my payment obligations, I was not informed that the next payment is pushed back to the following month resulting in a double payment. When I called to inquire why the payment was so high I was met with hostility. Admittedly I was hostile back. I was told I could only make the double payment in full when I asked if I could make my regular payment twice biweekly that month to stay current. When I told him I was not in a position to pay the double, I was informed they would attempt to collect payment again, and if not collected my policy would then be cancelled. I told him I’d be putting in a stop payment as to not incur an extra nsf as he was unwilling to work with me, and would attempt to speak to another agent at another time. I was told I be sent a registered letter and my policy would be cancelled. Two weeks after I received a letter confirming my policy was fully cancelled, they managed to get around my banks stop payment by using a larger number and took out the double payment + $28.00 more.
    My bank is working on a remedy to the situation.

I've been paying my policy for a year and yet when my pet got a brand new diagnosis just a week ago they flat out refused to cover it because previously my vet noted that she had lost weight. since when is losing weight a disease when the pet was overweight AND was on a diet to fix this previously???? why am i paying when a new diagnosis is given almost A YEAR into my policy?? **** * ****. Now i'm out all the money I've been putting towards my policy every month and all the money from my vet bills. THANKS FOR NOTHING. * ***** *** **** *** **** *** ** *** ****** *** *********.     Had the same issue they canceled my insurance, I contacted them and they told me I could get a written letter from my bank proving that I had the funds in my account, when I did this I was told my * **** customer service agent that I should look else where since this situation happens often and not many people get it reinstated. I didn’t understand since this situation wasn’t my fault as the bank told me they didn’t even attempt to take the payment out of my bank account. Well no surprise the responsed saying it was sufficient proof and that they and still canceling my insurance. I don’t understand how a signed letter from *** isn’t sufficient enough. ******** * ***** ******** **** *** *** ***** ** *** ***** *** **** ******** ***** ***** *** * ******* ** ***** **** **** ******* ** * ******** **** *** ***** ********** *** ********* ******* ********* **** ****. Even if they have the cheapest insurance I promise you the headache that comes with it is not worth it
    Now my insurance is at least double a month and will be like that for the next 3 years because they (***) me over.

    Was cancelled for non payment for making the payment ON THE DUE DATE OVER THE PHONE! In going through their process to get their position letter as I will be reporting this to the ombudsman, they neglected to Indicate that I made the payment same day over the phone but that’s ok, I have bank statements as proof

    Overall we are very unhappy with the service *** **** ** ** ** **** **** ******* ** ******* When we went to edit our existing policy to reflect a new vehicle their system kept failing when it came time to set the price. This led us to call, where their agent **** about the new final price and what was included and didn’t tell us we were being locked in the second we got off the phone. We wanted to be able to review the policy on our end first. We spent weeks trying to rectify the situation which led to not a single thing being solved or reversed, and then when we finally decided to cancel because we were so fed up **** *** **** *** ********** , we were charged a $300 cancellation fee based on a price and policy we never wanted in the first place. It feels very suspicious that all of this can happen and there is nothing they can do on their end due to “how the system works”. They essentially can just take your money *** *** **** *** **** and you can’t do anything about it. Hoping this helps someone else avoid the same mistake. Beware of Sonnet. Worst customer service we have ever experienced.

I had to get a lawyer to slove the case and go through alots of headache . **** **** *********** ***** *** ********* ********

    Just received an email from Sonnet saying their cancelling my homeowners insurance. I’ve never had a claim, never missed a payment. Absolutely no reason given.
