    Just received an email from sonnet advertising their insurance saying ‘no girl math just smart savings’ in the email view line before you open it. When you opened the email this message disappeared but I can still see the message when I view my list of emails. **** ** ********* ************** ******* ***** *** I am shocked this was sent out, you lost my business. ******* ******* *** **** **** ***** *** ****** ** ******

    I bought comprehesive coverage and cant use it for replacing windshield. They add "glass restriction" in their policy???? Recommend for who bought insurance from this company review carefully your policy. Their wording is extremely misleading. Bye! Former 5 years customer doesnt mean anything to them.

    Was quoted one price then signed up and was charged a way higher price. Was on their chat 2 times to adjust price and disconnected both times. As a customer for 5 yrs I’m not impressed

    I used Sonnet for car insurance for two years, with basic coverage on an old car. I initially chose them purely on price, as I was a young male who did not get very appealing insurance rates from other carriers. Sonnet offers a large discount for accounting graduates, but was not especially competitive without this.
    While far outside of my home city, my car was vandalized with two windows broken. I made a claim online with a police report, and photos, with a very clear description of the straightforward damage. Sonnet took 6 days to call me back about my claim, by which time I had been forced to drive over 1000km back to my home city with my windows shoddily covered. It took another two days for Sonnet to direct me to an appraiser, but neglected to send any details or contact to the appraiser beforehand.
    After appraisal which was a routine an non-complex replacement of a side window and rear windshield, I never received a word back from my adjuster. I tried calling, and emailed the adjuster, the support line for Economical insurance, and was unable to get a response. No quote or arrangements for repair were ever received by me throughout the claims process, nor did it appear that I could get a call or email back from anyone, especially my assigned adjuster.
    After over a month of being frustrated, I googled some glass repair shops in my city. All three of the top hits had online quotes, and offered me same day service for the repair. Infathomably, all of the quotes were at least a couple hundred dollars beneath my deductible, so I should have been advised not to proceed with the claim to start with.
    I was angered and unsatisfied by the non-responsiveness of the customer service. Additionally, the claims process was not timely by any means, and made me suffer the loss of use of my vehicle for a month, which I needed for work. Overall, the claims process for a very straightforward repair was incompetent, and **************.

    My car was involved in an accident. The person in on coming traffic ran a red light. (A witness reported seeing the accident - stating the person ran a red light ). Insurance closed my claim saying I was at fault. Insurance said if I had a witness the claim would be reversed. They will not reverse the at fault status even tho I was not at fault.

    Sonnet is great if you are looking to get your beater in the road but do not trust your vehicle that is worth anything in their hands.
    When making claims they do not do anything, they avoid fixing but we’re able to get us a rental after we did the work to find it. This counted as a claim witch prompted our collision to be discontinued. We fixed the vehicle ourself and got rid of it. When we went to add my financed vehicle to the policy we clicked all the correct boxes and the policy was sent to our insurance. Not a single person caught that we did not have collision when it was required. They put in tiny print in brackets (excluding collision) under another coverage. This was their due diligence and they will not cover my $60,000 car. We are left fixing it again.
    I do not recommend sonnet if you ever hope to be able to make a successful claim.

    Home insurance was cancelled without any real notice. Unless you classify a single email citing "policy changes" with an overall summery of generic changes in the email, with a link that has to be followed which will then and ONLY then tell you that you aren't being renewed. I am a new home owner and have been without insurance unknowingly for 3 months and now I might loose my mortgage and my home. I never made a claim, I never even spoke to anyone the whole time I was insured. It is not worth the "savings" and signing with sonnet might just be the biggest mistake I have ever made in my life. ******* ****** ***** ** **** **** *******! There we're no negative reviews when I signed on, I had no warning of what was waiting for me with this horrible company so I'm warning others. ****** ****** ****** ***** **** *** **** ******* ** ** *** ** **** * ********* *******. I worked so hard and now I might lose everything.

    Been dealing with my own Insurance Company Sonnet for the Past 4 Months now and no resolution on the matter. I was Rear Ended by someone traveling at high rated speed while I was stopped at a red light. I was at NO Fault on this matter and I am being treated like it was my fault and all charges are on me.
    Car sustained over $58,000 in damage and Sonnet said it is repairable at a lower price than the certified body shop at $42,000. No resolve for months, until structural parts on the car are on backorder then the car was deemed total loss, BUT at Actual Car Value, so I took a loss on the car even more. I agreed to the settlement and was explained the payout process that I agreed too.
    Now they Refuse to pay the full balance of the Service charges the Body shop has for THEM. Due to the lack of Communication between the company, and myself/body shop, it took weeks to get a response back from Sonnet/**********, and so incurred fees on top of time. Myself and Body shop emailed them Multiple times a week each and no response.
    ********** is unwilling to pay the extra $3000 to take the car from the body shop and Pay me out my settlement that I agreed too on June 1st. They say it is above market norm or out of the norm spec for charges to be that High, When clearly in recent cases through the body shop they have paid these charges before and more, but not in my case.
