They told me my vehicle would have an oil leak on the main seal and the drain plug, and they offered me to fix the problem by filling a sealant into the oil circulation after draining the oil. They explained the issue would have been caused by burnt, old oil, when driving too long over the oil change interval. This is a scam because:1. No such sealant has been approved by any car manufacturer. Filling some undefinable substances into the oil circulation can not only plug small oil passages and the filter, it will also void the (drivetrain) warranty.2. The full-synthetic oil in vehicle was not burnt at all and not driven over its expected or designed life time. Also, burnt oil wouldn't cause a gasket to leak. This is complete nonsense.3. I went to my dealership the next day and had them confirmed that there was no oil leak or any oil residue at all at the main seal or the drain plug. This scam was obvious, and I didn't fell for it. But I am sure other people will fall for it, lose money, their warranty, and possibly even cause damage to the engine.I reported to the *************************** Consumer Protection Ontario, and found a few more people who were also scammed (or attempted to be scammed) by Mr **** locations in *******, ***I recommend the Mr **** corporate office to investigate these charges and take the necessary steps to stop upsell attempts that can clearly be identified as scams.

I have never had such a bad experience with any place. I went there for a blown up tire, they told me I had to buy a pair of tire coz apparently the distributors dont sell singles, and I order everything and I paid for a rim and tires, they told us theyll get everything in few hours which they never did. Come next morning I call them and they tell they still havent gotten my stuff yet, call me back after 30 minutes telling me I have to pay $250 more for the rims coz their warehouse doesnt have any and they have to get it but it from a dealership. I call the guy who sold me everything, *** **, apparently hes the district manager, and he tells me to call the dealership to ask them the price of a rim, I call the dealership and explain my situation and they give me a quote of $630 dollars including everything a new tire, rim, sensor and valve. Whereas the Mr **** guys were selling me everything for over $900 at this point. So I call back this ************* telling him to cancel my order since I can get it done cheaper at the dealership. He tells me he can only give me back money for the Rim thats $150 and not the tires coz apparently it was non-refundable, which was never told to me when I was buying them and notice this I have never seen these tires in person yet nor have they been mounted on my car. He said you can go to any place and every tire sale is final.I am a new driver and idk much bout cars so I ****** it all and I can clearly see they are definitely refundable. But he continues to lie about it. He says he bought them from a third party and cant refund them I called the distributor myself to make sure if they did took returns and they clearly told me on their end yes they do take return tires. I finally give up and go to get my tires and my money back, they give me cheaper tires than the one I originally paid for and this ************* continues to lie that I paid for these cheaper ones. I am attaching my copy of the invoice and the picture of tires they gave me

The employee of Mr lube says the price of transmission oil is $299.99 but the actual price of that transmission oil just $59.99 so the took to much money and they also misrepresentation.

Nov 13 2022 got oil change at Mr lube #55. after change when I got home I noticed oil dripping on driveway. thought it was probably spillage during change. had to leave town and finally returned to Mr Lube on dec 2.

Dec 2 was told to come back on the Monday. told them about the leak. they checked to car over and replaced oil filter. they refilled oil. leak continued and returned a second time for them to fix issue.

Dec 12 manager checked car and said there was no oil change issue saw oil and suggested it was coming from control arm(impossible) stopped at garage and their inspection found they damaged the oil fill cover. either seals or cracked cover. can't confirm till they start work. called owner and he investigated. called back and said they followed procedure and its not their fault.

Dec 15, contacted Mr Lube corporate, customer service. explained issue. Said they would escalate complaint to manager. don't do repair or it will void warranty. could take up to 10 days for response.

Dec 23 and Dec 24. tried to contact corporate, no answer

Jan 3/ 2023 finally got ahold of corporate customer service and they said someone should have responded by now. told me she would tell manager I wanted to escalate complaint. took my email for faster/easier response.

The owner knows it is their issue. garage told me there have been several same issues recently.

Simple fix is to pay for the repair that they caused. Not to mention the oil covered driveway.
