    Business Name :MR.Lube(********************************************************************************** Date of Service: [17/05/2025].I visited Mr. Lube for a routine synthetic oil change after being quoted approximately $70 on the phone. When I arrived, the technicians recommended ***** 1 full synthetic, claiming it would last only ****** km, and then upsold Castrol EDGE saying it would last ****** km. I was surprised by this claim, as ***** 1 typically lasts longer than ****** km based on manufacturer recommendations.During the service, I was told that my oil drain plug was not in good condition and was recommended to be replaced. While I was informed before replacement, the explanation seemed vague, and it appeared like a routine upsell rather than a necessary fix. Additionally, I was advised to do an engine flush, which was strongly pushed by the technician, saying it was required to remove sludge. This was not mentioned during the initial quote.After the service, my final bill came to $203, nearly 3 times the original estimate. I was not provided with a detailed cost breakdown during the decision-making process, and I believe the business is engaging in misleading upselling practices to inflate service bills to around $200 for most customers.I am writing this review this because I feel:Misled about the original cost vs. final invoice Pressured into accepting add-ons like engine flushes without adequate technical justification That the shop may be engaging in predatory pricing patterns.
