This is the worst bank in the state of Alaska after trying to get an auto loan for over 2 weeks and no one knowing anything about anything I was finally denied because they didn't know what type of vehicle it was. I had told them it was box truck. After 10 visits they finally told me I was denied. I was approved for 20k and the truck was worth 20k. I only needed 12k. I am closing all 3 of my accounts soon and I suggest you do tooGlobal Federal Credit Union, LLC

My father pasted away recently and since then i have been helping with his affairs.with no help from this credit union. Payment amounts change per teller. We have made three payments each time taking over 3 hours each time then at the end of the calls (This has happened more than once) the payment goes back the normal payment amount. they have no support for her to get online access due to insufficient paper work but they found it to be enough to charge my fathers debt to her and want her to sign the paper work after they transferred the account. I bought a vehicle 6 years ago, my financing was through Alaska ***. I've never had a problem until yesterday when I got a text message that I didn't make my October payment. For 6 years my payment was automatically paid with a funds transfer from my **, now all of a sudden it's not???? When I called Global, I first was told that I must have stopped the payment online, when I told them I didn't , they then told me there were insufficient funds in the account they take my payment from. I was also told there would be a late fee. My next step....I called the ** I've been banking with for 23 years where I was told that there was no attempt for payment from Global on or around my due date, I was also informed that there were plenty of funds to cover that payment and further more, I have $2000 NSF protection to cover anything that comes through.Today I'll be going into my local Global branch to see what new "answers" I get. Should their scam service fee not be removed or if my credit rating is adversely affected, I'll be contacting my attorney General. I will NOT play these games.Global Federal Credit Union, LLC

I agree with everyone, since Global FCU took over everything's gone to ****, pretty sad when they won't let me deposit a check into my account from my sister's estate, all new tellers, no manager on site. Absolutely the worse, s*** rolls down Hill...Global Federal Credit Union, LLC

1 starI got an auto loan through this company. Then when the time came for payment I was charged twice. I called them and the employee told me he cancelled the duplicate payment. I made it very clear to the employee that I wanted to be charged once, and one time only each month on the payment date. Later, I discovered that all my auto payments were cancelled and they sneakily added a 95 dollar fee because they want a copy of my insurance. Which I have, however their website makes it unable to be uploaded anywhere... Also they provided no information that they wanted my insurance. Absolutely poor business practice, leaving their customers stressed and annoyed with things that are screwed up.Review fromWilliam G

Tried to dispute a charge. Global Credit Union called the scammer, provided personal information to the scammer, asked scammer if it matched their record. ******* said it did. *** says charges are valid. Do not bank with Global Credit UnionGlobal Federal Credit Union, LLC

Before the merging with Alaska Credit Union, we never had any issues with payments or paying our credit card. We were not informed that the merging would not carry over the automated payments for this. We were about a month late until I got a notice from Experian that my credit went down. I called customer service and was informed that the credit card payments must be set up online via easycredit. >>>>>>>I did not have my account number on hand and the CUSTOMER REPRESENTATIVE GAVE ME A ELECTRONIC ACCOUNT NUMBER THAT HAD A 4 AT THE END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <<<<<<<<<<<Global Federal Credit Union, LLC

We are Global Credit Union customers and asked to use their wi-fi connection while banking out of state. Its their policy not to divulge the information despite wanting to use a secure location. When expressing our concerns, the teller suggested ********* to gain a Wi-Fi connection. Ironically, ********* offered better support than our Global CU.Global Federal Credit Union, LLC

Walking data breach. Between the guy I talked to in person, and the lady on the phone, they provided me with 4 different and wrong ways to send my personal Information when trying to submit my proof of insurance. Worst, at least one of them the information sent. ************* also refused to take proof of insurance that is valid for a bank to take because "this isn't good enough" Eventually got a lady who knew what she was doing after 3 calls a trip to the bank and several hours of my time, but nothing was done about my Information just being put out there. I don't even know if it went to some random department in the company or if it was sent to a random person.Global Federal Credit Union, LLC

I have been with alaska *** for 10+years. And the online service and over phone services have always been great. I've also had a few vehicle loans which process was ************* and ********** since they switched over to Global credit union I have had nothing but troubles. Speaking with an agent they always seem to have something "wrong with their system" and usually end up on hold for 20+ minutes then magically have my call dropped. The agents never seem to know how to do their job and the service is rude and quite frankly upsetting.Global Federal Credit Union, LLC
