      Established a loan and credit card; while ******, this union was great. Since aquistion and rebranding? Pure c*** Repetitive calls, uninformed staff, low customer service, inability to be professional, rude, and likely have managers or execs up their **** to do so: as long as it gets "results"Used to be great; pure garbage now, and in under a month! It's almost impressive.

      It's more like negative 50 stars, but I wanted to inform the public. I keep a very small amount aside for emergency gas money. I live over an hour away from work and I'm oxygen dependent, so I need to make sure I'm home elsewhere. O2 tanks in the car are gone. These guys charged me fees that I've NEVER had before, on top of charging it to a LOCKED card, they had shredded, then using that to charge the card I actually have in my possession. They said they transferred my Global account info to the new Alaska/Global Credit Union account and cards given to me after the merge BUT they didnt even remember what card they shredded and were letting me make transfers and purchases on the supposedly shredded card. How does that happen. The card should have been declined if it was shredded (AND LOCKED) right? Thank God my daughter brought me an O2 tank from home and some gas or I would still be sitting in the middle of nowhere with no O2 and no gas due to they're actions. They kept me on the phone for over 4 hours, hung up on me twice and refused to give me corporates number. This was a major health concern they caused, yet the managers (******, ***** and ****...FYI) couldn't fix it. If it was my fault they would charge me, but it wasnt. The stress they caused me by their mess up could have ended in a major medical emergency. Plus they are fraudulently charging a card they thought they had destroyed. Be VERY CAREFUL with these guys. I'm going elsewhere. One more thing, they didn't transfer my balance from the old credit card to the new one, they doubled my balance. I now owe almost $1,000.00 on a $500.00 credit card. They are rude, uneducated and infuriating. Guess I'm gonna make some decisions on my plfinances that they won't like.

      Nearly 50years with these guys and it appears to be my last. Tried to update my orange. No-responses on chat. ************************************************************************************************************* another excessive hold time then an agent answers and stated the previous agent gave bad info and she could not assist as well and I will have to call back during normal operation hours please note these calls started during operation hours very sad experience.

      This bank is going under for good reason.I have been trying to get my savings balance out of Alaska and they refuse to transfer any money. So they issued me a check that bounced, TWICE. They are telling me that they don't know why it's not clearing. I am being held hostage by this so called bank and now I don't have the money I need to eat and pay my rent. They could care less that they will put me into poverty.What have I done to deserve this???

      I have been banking with Alaska *** for 43 years. I have had multiple car loans and have been an exceptional customer. I had my youngest son on my account since he was a teenager and just left it as a joint account even though he was 21 for the ease of transferring money to him when he needed it. He moved to ***** and forgot an auto gym payment of $10 a month. It got to be $50. They couldnt contact me with the information given when we opened the account and couldnt contact him since he moved to *****. Although, I had current address with my active account, they didnt bother getting ahold of me. Instead, I went to use my card for a small purchase and was denied. I tried to log in through the app thinking someone mustve drained my account! Could log in because they had locked me out. As I was on hold, they said I needed to talk with special accounts while also asking, did the loan department call you today? So now Im thinking, my identity was stolen! I was transferred about 5 times and they finally figured out what happened. Because my sons account went overdrawn for $50, they froze my accounts, cancelled my credit card I had with them and were going to send both of us to collections the next day for a charge off! I asked, if you could do all of this to my account, why couldnt you simply look up my phone number and I could have handled it right away! I dont regularly monitor that account. They treated me like a thief! No one apologized! Then, they said, we will see IF we can reinstate your account. Im now happily banking at Credit Union 1. I wasnt going to say anything until I heard they did the same thing to someone else over $18!!! Except this time it cost that person 60 points on his credit report and it was over a double charge that wasnt his fault! Be very ***** of trusting this bank. They are NOT looking out for their customers and are going out of their way to hurt them instead. I highly recommend Credit Union 1. Great communication with them!

      You guys keep calling my phone number and its on the way to harassment. I dont appreciate the repetitive Calls. Im not to be messed with. I can and will if this matter doesnt get straightened out Ill be filing a police report

      Unprofessional to small bissness owners, they like to talk them selfs up for, their rating, half a star in costomer service.. you can't make a vehicle payment, unless you pay a 10 dollar fee.. they like to record you but if you say your recording the call for your protection they hang up on you ... I would love to name names.. Thanks for making one more costomer and noncostomer.

      I recently experienced identity theft. Alaska USA Federal Credit Union granted a signature loan under my name based on a simple online application. I contacted the **************** and they have asked me to complete 5 different forms, including 3 different notarized affidavits and a police report to cancel this loan and report it to the Credit Bureaus as having been fraudulent. Something is wrong that it is more difficult to cancel a fraudulent loan then get one in the first place.

      I am stationed it *****, Caserma Ederle. I used your atm for the first time. I withdrew 400 euros and you charged me 447 dollars which is ***** exchange rate vs **** global exchange as of 30 July. ATM also did not display the exchange rate prior and none of your banks interface has daily exchange rate on it ( while providing services in Europe!)This is a terrible service for Soldiers while taking an advantage of their unawareness and their given an unconditional trust to you, our reps on base.
