      So I have purchesed a 2022 chevrolet silverado 3500 hd dually, a check engine light has come on they tell me it can't be seen till end of February 2025. Today is November 21st 2024 why did I buy a extended warranty for if it can't be seen for 3 months what can be done I can't drive my truck for three months this won't work for me we are a single vehicle family. The servi e I have got from lithia chevrolet of fairbanks alaska if I had to grade would be F's all day.

      Absolutely horrible dealership, will never consider trading a car in or buying anything from them again. We were trading in our 2022 Challenger for a truck. Our sales representative was *************************** and he was helpful. He is not at all at fault for any of this. First truck we test drove, we got back and it sold while we were driving it. Understandable so we looked at other options. Finally picked one out and had to get a loan. The finance manager, ********************, said they had approval from the bank for the loan in front of us while reading the email they sent. They had us sign legal paperwork stating how much we would pay a month for that specific truck, give them the registration for the car, and put down a $4,000 deposit the week before fourth of July. They told us the truck would be delivered to the driveway the next morning and we would pay another $3,000 then. Next day no one answers phone and when we finally get a hold of someone, they told us there was a misunderstanding between them and bank. So we made two hour drive back to Fairbanks several times to try to get this sorted, told them we were looking at other dealerships at that point after finding another truck we liked somewhere else after they kept bringing out dented/scratched trucks trying to talk us into buying one which apparently upset them. My boyfriend asked for his down payment back several times considering we paid $4,000 to never leave the lot with anything. The other sales representative, ***********************, told us youre lucky we don't keep your downpayment and tell you to kick rocks. They also tried to keep our car registration over fourth of July having us driving around illegally. It took them till July 9th to finally return our money. Just be aware because I feel like this was a scam and they were trying to take advantage because we are in our early twenties not sure what dealership this is to keep your money like that. Not how you should treat your customers.
