On or around July 17th we took our French Bulldog Hercules for an emergency prolapse procedure. On July 24th, we took him back for a follow up appt. On Aug 2nd, For the first time ever, my pup at 1 yo. became aggressive towards someone. I heard him growling rapidly while the sutures were being removed. When the vet came back she stated that he was fine and there were no visible signs of any issues. Prior to the sutures being removed, I informed the vet that he appeared to be prolapsing again. She said no his ************ and feels great. The vet then proceeded to tell me that my french bull dog was suffering rectal problems because of his tail being docked too short. French Bulldogs are born with short stubb tails. Clearly this vet knew nothing about the breed. She then said that its not recommended to neuter him, but she thinks we should neuter him because it may decrease his testerone level and mellow him out. Less than 2 days later he prolapsed again. Just like I informed the vet it appeared it was happening again. We dropped him to the vet on Aug 4th for emergency prolapse procedures again. On Aug 4th, around **** we were told to pick him up. I was at my softball game when they called. My wife went to pick him up. Again she heard him being aggressive. When the vet came out she told my wife that if we cant take care of our animals, there is a place we can take them. We had just spent $**** in 3 weeks in vet bills for follow-up appointments and suture emplacements. The damage my pup endured there, the unprofessional comments their staff made, and the fact that my pup has not been healed or fixed despite how much we have spent. We will not be taking any animals back there.Around **** in vet bills, im now behind on all of my debts for a problem that should not have reoccured so quickly. It has happened before about 3 months ago. In which **************** Hospital stated it may happen again. If one clinic prevented it for 3 months, how did another clinic not?
