The business was aware of an auto recall on my 2019 ***** Malibu and tried to charge me *****. I have evidence that I sent him a text to his phone about the recall and I have proof that he lied to the warranty company about the cars issue to avoid talking about the recall.

On 12-30-2024 Mr. ***** had his 2019 Chevrolet Malibu towed to our shop for an engine light diagnosis. We performed a scan check and found codes P0300, P050D, P1101, P2227, P00c7, P0121, P0236 and P0299. We found a technical service bulletin [which is not a recall] about freezing in the charge air cooler. We removed the intake ducting and found water and oil in the intake system. We provided and estimate to replace the turbo charger and intercooler with all neseccary parts. Mr. ***** asked if we would allow him to make payments on the repairs which is not our normal policy but I said that we would in this instance to help him like we have done for his mother twice in the past. We had him put a deposit of $1000.00 and special ordered the parts through the ***** dealer. On ********** Mr. ***** came to the shop and was making acusations that we were ripping him off and being very rude not even giving me a chance to show him that this was not the case. There was another customer in the lobby waiting for her vehicle and I had to ask Mr. ***** and his companion to wait outside while I got a check to riemburse him his money so he could have the vehicle towed to the dealer where he says they are going to reair it for free. I gave him a check for $1000.00 So he did not pay us anything for our time diagnosing the vehicle or spending the time to call his aftermarket warranty company who declined the repairs due to a ice/water exclusion on his policy. Since then Mr. ***** has slandered our facility on social media. Im not sure what he is looking for here but he has not paid us a ***** for any time spent on his vehicle and we certainly will not be doing any business with him in the future.

I have contacted wasilla family auto and told them to stop emailing me on several occasions. And I have contacted the owner of the vehicle to which they keep emailing me about, and told him they they are emailing me his information and warranty information and maintenance info on his vehicle. He has told me that he has contacted them (wasilla family auto) and told them. However this problem continues to exist.
