My truck was towed in on a Friday after talking with a man named **** who sent what seemed to be a fair estimate at the time. **** later told me that I didnt need an alternator replaced but instead a new battery. He then sent a new estimate which was even more than the previous one. I felt like I was being taken advantage of and told him not to do any further work. I then asked what I owed at that time. He said that they changed out the battery and it was $400. They charged me $400 to swap my car batterythat to me is outrageous !!!!

This vehicle was written up for a charging system diagnosis which we did perform, we found the battery was bad. We installed a quality battery in the vehicle which cost $257.89 and charged 1 hour of labor $148.40 for the charging system test and replacing the battery. We also added in a military discount which was 5% off parts. There is nothing out of line for the repairs that were performed.

Im sorry you feel this way. We did our best as your after market warranty company requires vehicles be taken apart down to failure, this is very time consuming, before authorization of any repair. Unfortunately they declined any repairs your vehicle needed. We have a minimum one hour labor for any vehicle we look at. This is all we charged. We were not advised of a low or flat tire.
