    As a property manager, Team Elevator has stood out in my experience as being incredibly unresponsive and charging exorbitant prices. I called them initially for a routine maintenance and hose replacement to be code compliant for a commercial elevator After the initial visit, I waited over 4 months for the hose to be installed, only to be told it had been in the shop but misplaced. I called repeatedly to check on the status of the hose, and was never called back though they said they would each time after looking into it. After 4 months, I was finally able to get in touch with a manager and communicated discomfort with paying the invoice amount because of the poor service and exorbitant prices. The manager said they would look into it and call me back. Weeks passed, but no call back was received. When I called to follow up the manager did not remember our conversation. As a property manager who regularly gets sticker shock over labor costs for maintenance, I can tell you Team's labor costs were exorbitant in comparison. Under no circumstances would I recommend Team Elevator.

    We sincerely apologize for the delay in receiving the parts for your elevator repair. These parts were special orders and unfortunately, they were misplaced. Like many companies, we are facing labor shortages, especially in the highly specialized elevator industry. Training new technicians takes time, but this is our responsibility, not yours.


    Regarding the communication issues, we acknowledge that we are at fault, and we have and will continue to address this issue in our, ********** may not be aware, but the unit in question is no longer manufactured, and the company that installed it, based in *******, is no longer in business. We mention this to help you understand the challenges we have faced with this unit over the years.


    As for the cost of the repair, we strive to offer the lowest rates in the area as a locally owned company. To address your concerns, we have provided a discount on the parts and reduced the labor charges by two team hours as you are aware.


    We at Team Elevator are committed to looking out for our customers, and we acknowledge our mistakes. After speaking with Kainah, our Comptroller, we hope you feel reassured that we are making efforts to improve.
