    I moved into ******************** located in ************, ******* in March, 2023. I've had bad bug problems, far as (Spiders and roaches). I've contacted the landlord several times to let her know about the problem. I have a Ring set up outside my door to see who comes in and out while I'm at work. Pest control doesn't stay in there past 1 minute. My sink isn't sealed into the counter, I can lift my whole sink up. I stay on the bottom level. As of 08/18/2023, My bathroom ceiling start leaking from upstairs. It was yellow urine coming out of my ceiling onto my bathroom floor. I have taken videos to prove this. My hallway sprinkler also started pouring water onto my floors and walls. My carpet became saturated and started causing a sour smell. I contacted my landlord when the problem occurred she ignored me and finally reached out when maintenance was on the way. Maintenance came in (HIGH off drugs) looked at the ceiling and walked back out and I didn't see him for the rest of the night. I called my landlord the next following day and ignored me. 08/21/2023, I called my landlord and she told her that maintenance was supposed to fix the problem that day and come clean my carpet, my mom stayed at my apartment the whole day to see if anybody was coming and nobody showed up. Multiple people in my apartment building has complained about having water issues and nobody has done anything about it. My mom went to rent a carpet cleaner to get the smell out of the apartment since maintenance didn't come do their job. Nobody has tried to reach out to call me about fixing anything. When I first moved into my apartment my dish washer was cleaned out, as of now I have molded water in there. I have a small child so to keep us from getting sick I haven't been staying there. My apartment smells like old **** from my leaking ceiling. I've been trying to contact corporate and nobody will reach back out to me. I have plenty of videos. I will be taking this problem further !!!!

    Daughter attending ******** College. I assisted her with renting an apartment at ********************** on **** St. Managed by Providian Real Estate. Rental agreement signed in August. No mailbox key provided. Was assured by property manager that mailbox key would be provided. To Date, none provided. Mailbox was broken into by her friend 2 weeks age. She had large amount of mail that was time sensitive and related to her college funding. Last week she was in the bedroom and the door shut behind her. She was not able to get out of the room. She was locked inside. Fortunately, her friend was in the apartment and handed her a screwdriver through the bedroom window so she could remove the lock and get out of the room. If she was there by herself she would've been locked in the room for who knows how long. She has placed numerous work order requests for leaking hot water heater, heating unit not working, obtaining a mailbox key (when she moved in was told by property manager that several locks were damaged on several mailboxes, and he was going to get an entirely new box and provide her with a key), repair of doorknob/lock in the bedroom she was locked in. She and I have made several calls and text messages to property manager. No return calls or text messages. Oftentimes, the voicemail box is full. Daughter has visited property managers office at several different times of the day, and nobody is in the office. I have tried contacting the Property Management company. No answer. I have been sent to a voicemail box that is not set up to leave a message. No email address is available for this company or the property manager.

    Good Afternoon and Happy New Year ****************, 

    This is our first time hearing of some of these issues, I am so sorry that you have been experiencing these issues. We have spoken to the Post Master General in ******** **, and unfortunately we are not able to replace the boxes as we planned. We wanted to mount them onto the building but the post man will not deliver to individual apartments. We wanted to replace the boxes and were told the ones we ordered didn't meet the **** standard. We are working to get new locks installed from the ****** Services. As far as the door situation in the room the doors lock from the inside which I'm not sure how she could lock her self in. I have checked the email and text correspondents with AppFolio our Property management system and there is nothing in the system from either you or your daughter. I also have no Work Orders from this unit either. In accordance with the leasing agreement all request are to be put into writing and summitted. I have spoken with the manager about making sure they is communicating, and ensuring a pleasant stay for your daughter.

    I am rejecting this response because: We have been communicating with the onsite property manager ******* through text messages and voicemails. He advised us that this would be the most appropriate and expedient way to communicate with him. I can provide a copy of these texts if needed. Also, the door in the bedroom isn't repaired nor is the Heating unit. My daughter's apartment temperature has gotten down to as low as 59 degrees. It is freezing and making it difficult for her to study for her exams.  Since filing this complaint, she has now had a leak in her hot water heater that still hasn't been repaired. This type of management is unacceptable. I feel like this company is taking advantage of college students.
