      On July 11, 2023, I paid in full $5000.00 to ***** Tipton of Tipton's Services to install new Septic Field lines in my backyard. After completing the backfilling of the dirt, a large amount of dirt was piled on top of the field lines leaving a huge dirt mound all across my backyard. I asked him if he would level it off and he said he would come back after 6-8 weeks to allow the dirt to settle. That 6-8 weeks has now turned into 12 months.Since then last Fall, I have called him and texted him around ********************************************** a date that he can come out. It has been almost a year and I am not able to get him to finish the job. Weeds are growing and the dirt mound is causing storm water to flood areas around my house. I would like to get a date when he can come out and level the dirt or refund me the money it will cost me to hire another contractor to do so.

      7-1-2024   ************ with BBB called and spoke with Mr. ********************** regarding your complaint. Mr. ********************** said he's told you they do not perform any landscaping duties. Going back out and grading the site would be an extra charge.

      ************ called three other Septic contractors and all three said any yard grading is an additional charge. If you paid for yard grading, please send me a copy of your contract as proof and I will contact Mr. ********************** again; otherwise I will close your complaint.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I have Mr Tipton's word and his lead that after the dirt mound had settled,  they would return to level the dirt off so that I can mow the grass and maintain my yard. I understood that he will not do landscaping, just the leveling of the huge dirt mound left from the work he did after installing the field lines. He promised to do so and I am expecting him to keep his word. I have attached written proof of his acknowledgement and willingness to "put me on his list". I am just asking him to give me a date.

      7-25-2024 BBB representative called and spoke with Mr. *********************** He said he told you he does not perform landscaping but when he's in your area he would come by and level the dirt out. At this time Mr. ********************** does not offer to come over and level the dirt. He suggests you find someone else to do the job.

      I am rejecting this response because Mr ********************** did not complete the job, even though I paid him in full. He clearly stated, "My crew works in ********* and we can come by there in between jobs and level off the dirt".  I have been very patient with him and expect nothing less than for him to complete this job. It has been over one year. The only reason I let him leave without completing the job on the same day is that he said the dirt needed 6-8 weeks to settle into place before he could level it off. I have been very respectful of his instructions and have done my part. Mr ********************** is not keeping his end of the agreement and I do intend on doing whatever it takes to get the quality of service I paid for.

      Therefore, I will give him until August 15, ****************************************************************************************************************** order to have another contractor complete his unfinished job. I will also make it known to other potential customers to beware of doing business with him.  I will not cease until this is resolved.
