Amsher is a fraudulent collections agency operating from the ****************, as listed on their website. They have illegally used the names of major companies, including ******** as "clients" that hired them to collect on debts, and reporting those fictional debts to the credit bureaus. I have spoken to ********, specifically to ***** a representative who has confirmed that they have not hired and are not affiliated with Amsher to collect any debts. I have reported them to the *** and **** for fraud. The credit bureaus have quickly deleted their information from my credit report due to it being fraud. This company is illegally operating and illegally collecting debts from unsuspecting citizens like the ones on the **** website, where there are over ***** complaints about this fraudulent company. I am asking the BBB to please investigate this. Don't just go on their website and believe the "clients" that they have on there are true!

I've never entered into a signed agreement or contract with them! This INACCURATE COLLECTION is not mine and I would like it removed and for all COLLECTION activity to cease!

I am dealing with severe identity theft and even have multiple federal trade commission reports. This company is refusing to take my proof of identity theft and is refusing to remove collection from my credit reports causing me severe distress as well as financial problems because the collection is over $9,626 and has lowered my credit scores to nearly 300. Im needing help to resolve and remove this debt but cant do anything. I feel hopeless because I dont have the credit to even get an apartment or place because of this collection. Worst collections agency ever. I literally just tried to give it NO STARS but cant.

I would give negative stars if possible. I received an email from AmSher stating that I had an overdue T-mobile bill. After explaining to representative, Latricia, that I was not associated with the account in question, she threatened to just send it over to her boss to continue the collection process. Extremely frustrated at this point, I further explained how her actions were unnecessary and did not make sense when I simply want to investigate further considering this was the first notice I received regarding this bill. She was very rude and proceeded to raise her voice at me to remind me she was "just doing her job." I got off the phone with her and called back to attempt to resolve this issue with someone with better customer service skills, and to my surprise, he was even worse. I believe his name was Doug. Horrible customer service, made sure that I understood he did not need to understand where I was coming from, and could not answer any of my questions, but instead became defensive as if this debt was personally owed to him. He continued to be completely disrespectful after it was established that any communication that was sent to me regarding this bill was in fact sent to an address that I have never resided at. All of this to say, this company clearly does not want to resolve any real debt, but instead intimidate people by making threats. While my issue will in fact be resolved through T-mobile, I wanted to share how horrible of a company this is. The representatives need further training on how to talk with people in a respectful manner to resolve issues instead of bullying their way through conversations. I would hope that AmSher truly monitors their recorded calls to help their reps have more effective debt collection strategies, but something tells me otherwise.

I received a phone call from one of your representatives (I believe the first name is Sandra) on Thursday, August 4th at about 5:15 pm informing me of an outstanding balance on a T-Mobile account. She proceeded to ask me if I could make that payment at that moment. I told the rep I could not make payment until August 15th. The rep inquired about setting up an auto pay for that day. That was absolutely fine with me. However, I was driving on the expressway at that moment and asked the rep if I could call back once I made it home or if she could call me back within the hour to get that arrangement scheduled.
It was then that the representative’s demeanor became unprofessional and told me the office would be closed. I asked if I could call back in the morning when the office opens and set up payment for August 15th. She told me to pull over to the side of the expressway or come off at an exit to set the payment up. I found this request to be completely unreasonable. Considering I was driving on the expressway, I found it to be absolutely ridiculous. The rep kept informing me that the balance needed to be paid. I didn’t negate that fact one bit. The rep then had the nerve to ask me how was I able to take her call and speak with her while I was driving. Bluetooth technology allows drivers to take calls hands-free and I am sure the rep is aware of such technology. So that question was quite absurd. She kept asking me to pull over or come off at an exit and that people do it all the time. The reps demeanor was very unprofessional and extremely irritating at this point. Again, I had no problem taking care of that balance but the approach from your rep was way off. She then proceeded to say she was just going to report it as a “decline to pay” and hung up the phone. This was completely unacceptable!
