When I first did my walk-through, I was promised a special rate and that was written down and management and the leasing office was notified to attach that to my account. When it came to move in day, the day I was scheduled to move in, they told me I was not able to keep the rate that I was promised and the new rate for the apartment was $300 more than what I was promised. Unable to find anything else at this point. I had no choice, but to move in. It was either move or be homeless and that was not an option. This was my first interaction with them. I wish me and my boyfriend would have left then. Unfortunately we were stuck. After moving in I notified the office of several items that were broken and damaged in the unit. A unit that was supposedly just cleaned and inspected. Three months later and many of the items are not fixed. As of recently, weve been charged an account fee in the amount of almost $300 and nobody is able to explain to me what the fee is for. Ive called the office and gone up there and I was assured several times that it would be fixed. I was told that it shouldnt be on there and that it shouldnt affect my ability to pay my monthly rent. But we pay online and that is not true. We have to pay this miscellaneous fee before we can pay the monthly rent. So we have been forced to pay this fee just stay in our home. I have since contacted the office on several separate occasions and have been ignored every time. Im getting beyond frustrated not to mention theyve forced us out of $600. NOT WORTH IT

I recently got approved for an apartment and was close to signing. I noticed I didn't get the apartment I had applied for, and was told was availible. The manager said the website wasn't updated to show what they really had. So I was already very disappointed. I asked to see this unit they had assigned to me and wanted me to sign on. I walk in and notice the floor squished down and moved as I walked on it. Bad sign. I brought this to ******************************* attention and she said she would have maintenance look at it. I opened the dish washer and there was a mouldy puddle of water in the bottom of it with gnats swarming it. First red flag. As I continued to look around I noticed none of the cabinets had handles, drawers weren't on a moving track, just poorly painted wood grinding on wood. I look by the outdated stove. Cockroaches. A huge family of them. I pointed them out to *************************** and the first thing she asked me was "are they alive?". I was dumbfounded. It doesn't matter. There are roaches in the unit you intended to move me into the very next day. I quickly took a look at the rest of the unit, desperate to leave at that point because I hate roaches. Water damage all over both bathrooms. Corners of the celilings above the tub and toilet were poorly caulked over and it was very evident there was heavy water damage. It didn't stop in just the bathrooms. I returned to the leasing office. After about 10 minutes she comes out from a room and tells me they're going to fumigate the unit for the roaches, and they were only there because the unit had sat empty for so ****************** comes weekly at these apartments and that should've been all the warning I needed. My move in date was supposed to be the next day. She said she would have us moving in within a week of the repairs and fumigation. I still haven't recieved any information yet on the unit. Now I'm being wrongfully ignored in hopes that I just give up and go away.
