I called today 6.30.25 at around 5:20-5:30pm eastern time and was transferred four times, each time I have had to provide ALL my information and was told I dont know why you were transferred to this ***** was told the name ***** multiple times. The so called ***** that took my payment over the phone was rude. I was told that an IT ticket would be entered last month and was not. ***** said she would enter another IT ticket said your acct is not on hold so I dont know why youre unable to make payment. So frustrating I have never had this much difficulty making payments and I should not have to call to make payments.Business Response

****** ****** <********************************************>Jun 25, 2025, 9:55PM My name is ****** ******. I recently contacted the Better Business Bureau with regards to the concerns that I have regarding my fuel gas gauge not working properly in which it was reset manually to the manufacturing system. I had it happen again last week where my fuel gas kept registering 7 miles to empty after I had put $12.00 in the gas tank just to see if there was something wrong with it. I then tried turning the car off and it did not register the correct fuel amount. I then went into the store and asked the cashier if she had set the fuel pump so that I could receive the amount of fuel that I had purchased. She then ran the register and printed out the $12.00 transaction to show me that she had indeed set that fuel to provide the amount paid for. I apologized to the cashier and explained that I was not accusing her of taking the money. I just continue to have the same issues with the vehicle. As I had explained in my previous complaint that on several occasion the salesperson had to reset the vehicle back to the original manufacture system which erase your entire personal information as if it was a new vehicle. It had occurred again, and the service department said that they could not find an issue with the vehicle.Business Response

I am filing a complaint against Southeast Toyota Finance, regarding their failure to provide detailed and accurate payoff information and timely communication for the buyout of a leased vehicle following the death of the original ********* partner is the legal executor of the estate of ****** ******* (a veteran) and has authorized me in writing to handle this matter on his behalf, as I am more familiar with the process. Yesterday, June 19, 2025, was the leases final day. Their delays and flawed accounting are preventing the completion of the vehicle purchase and have resulted in emotional distress, significant time lost and financial ******* part of this process, we made a payment of $21,857.58 on April 1, 2025, based on the lease payoff form provided by Southeast Toyota Finance at that time. They have since claimed the tax calculation was inaccurate due to a change of address. However, the change of address to ******** occurred on March 14, 2024, over a year before we received the lease payoff form. We have repeatedly requested a detailed breakdown of all charges for many months, but these requests have largely been ignored.I am filing this complaint because the companys handling of this estate-related lease buyout appears to disregard basic consumer protections and obligations. Given the seriousness of the situation, I am also filing complaints with other *********** an effort to submit this complaint quickly, supporting documents are being organized and will be delivered shortly. Please investigate and assist in resolving this matter promptly.Thank you,**** ********** Acct: ******************Business Response

Since this company updated their website in March 2025, I have not been able to access our account. I have called this company multiple times, it is very difficult to get through to a customer service representative. The last time I called to make a payment they said their systems were down and they could not assist me. This seems to me that they are trying to prevent people from making payments to apply late fees. I have tried several times to resolve this issue, to no avail. We are unable to even access our account to be sure that our payments are being applied.Business Response

My Toyota truck was totaled. Progressive insurance settled with both me and Toyota finance a whole week prior and they still took another payment on my truck out of my bank account. They admit they owe me about $1,050 but it has been 5 weeks and I still have not received a check and they are nothing but excuses. They are just a billion dollar company that doesn't care and I am just a small-time citizen trying to get my $1,000 back.Business Response

I made a payment to Southeast Toyota Finance on 4/30 over the phone with an agent for the amount of ****** which settled this account in full. This was after an agent told me two days prior paying ****** would be considered in time and would settle the account in full. Not once during the life of the loan was my account over 30 days, but when loan was paid in full, they reported my account at over 30 days which is hurtful to ones credit. I filed a dispute with the credit bureau, which is Experian. The other two bureaus are showing on time. This makes no sense. I have also not received a notification of my title which they said would be sent via email.Customer Answer
