Southeast Toyota Financial is absolutely the worst automobile financing company that I've had the opportunity to work with. I have dealt with only one person within the company that was kind and courteous. Everyone else should not be in this type of position because they obviously don't know how to treat their clients!Southeast Toyota Finance

My car got totaled and I reported it online through their website. The website never told me I had to make a payment regardless and I never got an email either. 4 months later I get a call saying I have late fees to pay. They are a scam extracting every ***** they can from customers. And when you call them it takes for ever to just talk to a person. ****************.Southeast Toyota Finance

Miscommunications between representatives in lease ending agreements lead to an ongoing, over 7-month delay in registration and over $2000 of out-of-pocket payments to be made to cover while waiting for sales end paperwork and finances to go through. Furthermore, no outreach or communication is made or deemed "impossible" once the portal is closed with the payment in hand. I would not recommend using this financing group at all and am still seeking financial accountability that I am owed.Southeast Toyota Finance

My husband and I were involved in a car accident that was not our fault but totaled our car. Its been a month and a half since the accident has occurred and I was told today that southeast Toyota has had the check for 2 weeks and it hasnt been taken care of. They said they were waiting to hear back from the dealership to see if there were any reimbursements for them. Our warranty ended ****** miles ago so there was nothing for Toyota to give them. To my surprise after looking at my bank account, ********************************************* took out a car payment for the car THAT HAS BEEN TOTALED FOR A MONTH AND A HALF. Insurance took care of everything immediately and Southeast Toyota dragged their feet and we had to pay for it. I called and the customer service *** which *** had to deal with multiple times (which has never been pleasent) told me they wont reimburse us. She had 0 empathy. So now we are out almost $750 because THEY didnt do their job. Do better and give us our money back, there is no car to pay on anymore, it was stripped for parts over a month ago. I am completely in disbelief over the way weve been treated by this company.Southeast Toyota Finance

Southeast Toyota Financing is extremely difficult to navigate. I plan to fill out the paper form an submit it in the mail. Their online portal will not show up to date remaining balances or always give you a statement. I'm unsure on why their website won't show each payment and/or principal payment as with other lending agencies. They require you to request that information, it is not provided to you. You call customer support and/or the financing office in ******, Al and they can be either extremely unprofessional by denying to give their name or further you to a complaint. I actually requested a detail statement in December of 2024 that was never processed. Took hours on the phone to finally reach someone that still was hesitant to even provider their name. What Business employee wants to hide their name? Any other Business, the individual provides you with their name and/or contact information if requested. How do you hold anyone accountable if they provide false information. Yes, calls are monitored, but that is solely for Toyota's benefit an not the customer. ********************** the manufacturer makes quality vehicles, but their American Financial Company does not provide sufficient understanding or navigation. I believe this is to intentionally confuse customers/clients. I will continuously provide this type of feedback for the buyer who does not know this. I will finance next time directly through a Bank. That says a lot about SETF. I'm not interested in their replies about they'll look into this matter or etc. I'm posting this help save someone in the FUTURE. If you're okay with paying hundreds and thousand with out even knowing if it went to interest or your principle then go ahead. If you like guessing where your amount went, this is the place for you. When so many other Financial Agencies give you detailed up to date info.Southeast Toyota Finance

*************! We are refinancing to Navy Federal as they offered us a lower interest rate, and we have spent over 20+ hours on the phone with Toyota finance just in the past 2 weeks, they are not professional or organized! We mailed them the payoff check and paid extra for a confirmed signature which we received. (which btw was also scammy on Toyotas end- they suddenly INCREASED the payoff amount by $400+ for absolutely no reason. Unethical and against our standing loan terms) Then the payoff check was said to have 'processed', but it clearly didn't. They keep saying they are having SCANNER ISSUES and to contact them in 48 hours! Over and over again, every 48 hours! Every time we call, it is 'give us 48 more hours' because of a SCANNER ISSUE?! Weeks on end?! We are adults here! Get a new scanner for $50 if need be! This is a huge issue, as them not processing this is affecting us negatively. And we have proof of Toyota signing for the check, cashing the full payoff amount! at this very moment, my husband is on the phone with Toyota finance as well as Navy Federal, and This is incompetent! I will be sure to NOT recommend EVER financing with Toyota if this is the experience they give! Toyota, you should pay us for all of this lost time 20+ on the phone with ya'll, 3 hours on the phone AS OF RIGHT NOW and ya'll STILL have not resolved the issue!Southeast Toyota Finance

The lack of communication and accessibility on the webiste for this company is ridiculous. I can rarely get on to the portal and read my secure messages st all and the portal is not user friendly at all. I am a school teacher and have told them several times that I only get paid once a month on the last day and need my due date changed so I don't end up paying late and having more fees but they won't allow me to change my due date until I'm caught up and I can't catch up without changing my due date. And now over $200 of my current due amount of just over $700 is late fees, how is that fair? I made a payment on the 3rd but am still getting calls about a payment that isn't due until the 15th. Why? I'm working on moving my loan or asking family to pay it off and me pay them the monthly payment instead of dealing with this anymore. I would highly recommend anyone to avoid this company at all costs. There are much better companies out there, like One Main that actually care about their customers. I don't feel like I am anything more than a way to take advantage and get more money out of someone. They only allow a few deferments in case of emergency so if you do have a loan with them use those only if absolutely necessary. Having a loan with **** is one of the biggest regrets I've had as an adult.Southeast Toyota Finance

I paid my lease off on January 2nd. I sent in 32k over a 90 day period ro pay this lease off. On my last payment, I was told I was short! I was 35 payments ahead!! So my title.waant mailed until January 24th. It is Feb 18th and I still haven't sent my title. Southeast toyota doesn't have a tracking number or any way to track the mail. So, I have to wait 30 days before I can request a new title. That proces will take another 4 weeks. I have requested to speak to a supervisor to ******* with no help! I would never recommend this company to anyone! If you want to get a car, go through your bank, you will get a lot more respect and help!Southeast Toyota Finance

****** from Setf called to be the 4th person to inform me my account was 11 days late. In earlier conversations I had informed Setf that I was selling my home and would pay off vehicle that was upside down within 6 months of purchase and calls continue daily. Mid conversation with ****** who had difficulty in both reading and speaking she hung up. ***** ******* Toyota and Setf are not only crooks but very unprofessional.Southeast Toyota Finance

Toyota SE finance is using illegal schemes, taking cards off auto draft, charging late fee, then refusing to escalate issue to supervisor to resolve issue. Filed complaint with BBB, recorded phone conversation, customer service extremely rude and unprofessional. Legal action is next, which is unfortunate because Love Toyota vehicles, their finance department is ridiculous.Southeast Toyota Finance
