      We switched our alarm system from Vivint to Brinks in March 2022 because our service from Vivint was poor. The Brinks rep promised ** that Brinks would have local technicians available whenever we experienced problems with their system or needed some form of service. That was a lie, and even that rep was gone in a couple of months. We have had numerous problems with the system over the year of their service and waited weeks, with numerous call backs with the, to get a technician out. They typically promise to send ** a component for ** to install ourselves and we then wait weeks for that component to show up. We recently had an alarm event while we were sleeping. We never heard it because Brinks had not installed a siren on our system. When we asked for a technician to come out and install a siren, they told us that there was no technician available now or in the future to install it. We have five year contract with them and they tell us that we have to pay them four years worth of their monthly service fee of $75.93 to get out of the contract, or about $3500. Brinks are con artists promising fast assistance to solve problems, which they told us would be minimal. Instead, it's constant problems with little to no assistance on their part.
