Ive been paying for a non working Brinks Alarm, Member No since 2018, over the years the price increases. 2021 contacted my system was not connecting and not monitoring. Theyd come out spend hours and it would connect and then failed test later and the pattern continued over and over again of still not connecting. Ive been robbed 2 times and once in this house with my 9 yr old son, an ax was taken to both doors its was a violent ransack and more Items taken then left. Insurance claims the cost and well being of your home was lost that was our reason to have a reputable alarm system. 2023 again system is not connecting, I work 7/7 and my son is older but has medical disabilities we are still afraid to be home alone or asleep that it may happen again and no comes. I pay for a non working system that cant be fixed permanently and that bill increases. Called for assistance with the bill and get locked into a price guarantee for 5 yrs but other misc still added. No other option to replace and cant afford a newer one and then added time to pay off after this one that didnt work and paying for no monitoring service. March 2025, home on surgery leave I called again checking what could be offered by Brinks and another company offered a cheaper plan and easily installed updated system, not like the wired and block battery wall Brinks System. Contacted Brinks to stop the monthly debits and advised they need a bonus payment of 1680 to pay off the remainder verbal contract for the next 2yrs 2027 or will continue to debit monthly monitoring bill until 3/2027 for no service. Have already paid more over the years with this non working system that left me and my son with an open door to be robbed or broken into while we at home or asleep and not hear the door broken off the locks. I humbly ask to close my account and stop the monthly debits since as a courtesy for not receiving the level of security promised and giving us back our safety through another company

I became a new client of Brinks Home Security in January. When the installation was complete, the sales person told me that if I had any questions, concerns or any problem I may have, to call him first and he'll take care of me. He also promised me that I didn't have to cancel my account with my former alarm company, Vivint Security, that he would take care of the cancelation. The day of the installation was the last time I spoke with hime. He has ghosted me. I call and leave a voicemail, he doesn't return my call. I text him and I get no response. I read my bank statement for the month of February and I see that Vivint took their monthly deduction from my bank account. I called ********************** and told them that I wanted to cancel my account for the reasons previously stated. I told them that I was disappointed with my overall experience with Brinks. They told me that I had signed a 5 year contract with Brinks and that I had 59 more payments in order to complete my contract. I told them that I have been disappointed with Brinks from the beginning. and my contract was only month old. All she said was I had ************************************************** over $4,000 buyout by on my contract. I asked to speak with a supervisor and I was put on hold. The same girl came back on the phone and told me her supervisor would call me later in the day. I never heard from the supervisor. The resolution I would like to see is that Brinks will cancel my account without the penalty fee. Am I going to be an unhappy customer for the next 59 months.
