      I have literally nothing good to say about this company. If there was another option for water service here, I'd take my business elsewhere.

      They switched service providers and supposedly sent bills or emails to all effected. I never got a bill or email. Tried several times to set up new account but did not have the new account number. Got home from work yesterday only to find my water had been shut off. They want almost ****** to turn back on. I never received an email or anything in the mail with a new account number on it. The staff they have working for them refuses to help or even attempt to do any kind of work. They just push you off and say they can't help you. I finally got my new account number after they hung the hanger on my door with it. But now want ****** plus another 100 to turn it back on. To me this was done on purpose so people couldn't pay and they can get the late fees and the reconnect charge as added money for the company. This is ridiculous and is highway robbery!!! This company should be ashamed of themselves.

      MAWSS is taking advantage of the community with their antiquated process. The Billing procedures are unclear when they used vague terms such as "Miscellaneous" and "Deposit Charge" on their bill and the communication is scripted and of no help, and rude.They are the only utility service that I am aware of that does not give a reasonable time frame for when the technician is coming when most give a window of time or have the technician let the customer know when they are ***** minutes away. For those working at a job and cannot sit and wait all day at home waiting for a knock at their door like myself, and that have paid a fee of $85 or more for a technician to come turn the water on or off, and you miss them (with no communication), not only are you stuck with that fee and no solution but have to pay an additional fee of $60 for them to come back out. The constant "deposit charges" and fees continue to add up without real explanation and they are at free will to turn your service off at any given time based on their crooked and strategic policy. There is no other water service so MAWSS is at liberaty to charge people what they want and act accordingly to their discretion to continue to make money off of the paying community that have their hands tied. My daughter and I have currently been without water for a week with no solution except to continue paying fee on top of fee and I cannot catch up. There is no payment plan or proper customer service soultion to help. I have been a paying customer for over 11 years at this one address and after a pipe froze and burst during December of 2023, they could see in their records, I provided the receipt of the cost to fix the pipe. They also have record of me paying monthy, even bi-weekly toward that bill and when almost settling up, they turned my service off and this has spiraled since. All I can be told by anyone is to continue to pay these fees which is now resulting in over $200 per month and I cannot afford that.

      MAWSS' ******** Service Supervisor has addressed the customer's concerns on 7/5/2023 at 6pm. As a courtesy and customer satisfaction, her $100 deposit was waived, several late fees were removed, and her service charge was reduced as well. The customer did receive a credit adjustment on her account as well for the high bill she received from the broken pipe. MAWSS' has extended every courtesy allowed for this customer and their satisfaction.
