This credit union keeps saying they are here for the people with little to know credit .. I have been with them for 8 months with the secured credit card never missed a payment and they keep advertising that I can switch to an unsecured card ( at first $3,000) now showing $5000 .. I submitted the application as it states Im pre approved and was declined AGAIN .. this is false advertisement as I would like all of the inquiries from guardian credit union removed from my credit profile . 03-17-2025 I spoke with a mortgage originator to apply for a loan of $30,000 which was the sale price and agreed to putting around $6,000-8,000 down payment including possible closing cost , On same said date around 8pm cst I received an email with a link to the mortgage portal to view or track the status of request. I noticed that the sale price showed $15,000 more than the original price I provided and the down payment and closing cost was at $15,000. I immediately on 3-18-2025 emailed ****** Striplend who initially completed the application and inquired on the denied application and the incorrect numbers that was on the application. She informed me that she could not submit an application just for $30,000 even. I informed her I never agreed to any of the numbers she put on that application. On 3-18-2025 I immediately requested to speak with Ashleys boss in which I was told an email was submitted and they would call me back. On 3-25-2024 I call back to Guardian Credit Union and explained the situation again and stated that Im waiting to speak with Ashleys boss and I had been waiting since 03-18/2025 and yet have heard from anyone.i was then told to hold let the see if they could ask ****** if her boss was available to speak with me and magically while Im on hold I get an email from ****** with an email link to the portal where she had went in and adjusted the number from said application. This credit pill should be removed from my credit reports as this was not the document I agreed to and upon trying to rectify the situation through the proper channels of the business Im being ignored.Business Response

On 08-10-2023 I file a dispute concerning a item i purchase online when I received it it was damage and the seller is trying to charge me almost a $100.00 to send it back they are refusing to help me get my money back or anything else I have been doing business with them for over 10 years and to be treated like a lair is a slap in my face with no help as of now looking into other banks to do business with and take over my loans.Business Response

They apply an over draft fee to all pending charges before the account has been overdrawn even if a deposit was made to keep it from being overdrawn. I'm disabled and my small 600 dollar check is all I have to take care of me and 3 of my kids. It makes it really difficult when they do this. I suffer from PTSD and Depression from my time in service and duty over seas. I already get no help from the VA.Business Response

I recently tried to apply for a loan, but was denied because Guardian placed false information on my credit report. They showed that I missed several payments, but I have never missed a payment and I am current on my account. I called to see when I missed the payments and the lady said I can't give you any information on that. I am highly disappointed with Guardian!Business Response

Some how I have a ******* IN MY NAME from GuardianCreditUnion. After contacting a friend (******************************* with ********************** in ********** who is no longer employed). He told me he needed my social to run a credit report( which I didn't think anything about because my previous vehicle when I was younger that dealership got my social security number as well for a credit report) but somehow Without myself personally EVER stepping foot inside, never submitting ANY TYPE of documents. Never signing ANY Bank loan application or final credit approval paperwork.So how did this happen and please help me or point me in the right direction to get this resolved and off my credit.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I NEVER SUBMITTED ANY FORM OF DOCUMENTATION TO dealership or THE CREDIT UNION DIRECTLY MYSELF.
Enclosed are "Social Security" documentation for 2 children who DONT EXIST. ANYONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND CAN TELL THOSE DOCUMENTS ARE FRAUDULENT. There is no official letter head, barcodes and obviously poorly fabricated.
Also attached FOR THE BBB'S USE ONLY are my REAL, FACTUAL PAPERS FROM SOCIAL SECURITY (WHICH I DO NOT WANT SENT TO GUARDIAN CREDIT UNION IN FEAR OF THEM GETTING THE CORRECT FORMAT FOR SUCH DOCUMENTS)
I would never in my life RISK MY FREEDOM AND FALSIFY GOVERNMENT DOCUMENTS COMMITTING SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY FRAUD, especially since that's something that can be proven easily.
As I persoally have been on Social Security Disability MYSELF since 2012 i know how their letters come and always have came.
The best option for this establishment is to:
1.) Reimburse me all the money that I have previously paid Against this "car loan" IN FULL!!!!
2.) Contact all 3 Credit Bureaus immediately an Have this removed from my Credit Report within 30 days.
3.) Strictly Follow State and Government Regulations when it come to Using Fraudulent Social Security Disability DOCUMENTS.
If I have to go Public with my proof of their wrong doing, I most certainly will.

On April 9, 2023, I managed my account online. As an effort to get ahead with monthly bills. I submitted a payment from my Guardian Credit Union account in the amount of $38.07 to Primo/Crystal Springs Water. For some reason instead of their system taking the $38.07 it took the whole amount of the invoice $66.17. Once noticed I followed up the next day. On 4/10/23 I contacted customer service, they noticed the transaction, then I informed them that I only wanted the $38.07 to be paid. I asked if the payment could be separated and they stated no because it was in the processing stage. I communicated with them that I specifically used the box that asked "How much do you want to Pay"? does it not work. **************** seemed puzzled that it took the entire amount! So I asked if they could reverse the charge, they completed that request when I was on the telephone with them on 4/10/23. Informing me that depending on my banking institute the monies should be released in my account 5 to 8 business days. Here it is June 1, ***************************************** my account. I've completed the directive that was given to me by Guardian Credit Union staff, still no resolution. *************************** emailed me the claim form, I completed it and emailed it back. I received an email from *************************** ************ stated she needed additional information. I submitted the Invoice from the company and asked ************** to fax it. The other end never received it. After receiving an email from ************s stating that I was not eligible to receive my reversal.4/27/23 I took documents to another branch on that same day and spoke with ***************************** (4/27/23 ), he asked me to wait while he fax the information again and get a response of receipt before I left the branch. Still nothing! I have tried and since this time went to the branch again on May 15, 2023 with the same documentation. The transactions were from march 1 through march 8 it was cash app transactions made that I didnt do someone had my phone making the transaction payments to there cash app I file a dispute with cash app and bank and both was denied called the bank back to see what I need to prove that I didnt do the transactions bank said it was out there hands and to contact cash app I kept filing a dispute kept getting denied so I called bank again asking what I need to do and they said file police report I did that and I asked can I give it to bank they said no I have to solve this on my Own I was upset because thats a lot of money to just let go I told them over and over again I didnt do this and its like whatever I as still doing transactions in between because I didnt realize this until it was too late and the person doing it stop coming around me and I havent heard from that person so I just want my money back to my account I wouldnt keep trying to call and file a complaint if I did this and the bank also told me that I have to get my money back from cash appBusiness Response
