    Valor Communities has discussed in detail with Mr. ****** all of the issues submitted to the BBB. The structural claim process has been explained to the homeowner and he understands he has a 10 year structural warranty through the warranty insurer and not Valor. The homeowner has agreed to submit a structural claim form with the provider to begin the investigation process. Valor has agreed to reimburse the homeowner for their first water bill and will provide another home cleaning. The common area referenced has been bush hogged and no other maintenance is required per the contract. The insulation in the home passed municipal inspection and we have reviewed pictures of the insulation taken during construction and the issue is not warrantable. However, Valor has agreed to further inspect the issue out of an abundance of caution. The window alignment issue is not warrantable and the homeowner has been made aware. The windows are required to be leak free, operate correctly, and lock/unlock. Cosmetic issues are not warrantable defects and are the homeowner’s responsibility once they take possession. Lastly regarding the 10 month warranty, Valor has agreed to perform another complimentary 10 month service to revisit warrantable items the homeowner is dissatisfied with and discuss looking at some of the issues the warranty insurer excluded. This service has already been scheduled with the homeowner for July 27. Thank you for your patience.

    In July 2021, me and my husband closed on a home with Valor Communities in ******** *** **** Haven Estates. We were promised several things to be completed with our home on an addendum such as the bathroom cabinet being installed in the master bathroom. We have been emailing the Valor's Vice President of Sales, ***********************, and ************************** representative, *************************, since January 10, 2022, with no resolve. The mirror in my master bathroom has been taken down for over 4 months sitting on the floor waiting for the cabinets to be installed. Last email correspondence we received stated we needed the granite company to cut the granite to help the cabinets fit. Since then, we haven't heard anything. I have been continuously emailing the representatives with no resolution and we have been staying in the home for 11 months. We also submitted our 2 month warranty for things to be fixed. The worker came to the home to inspect the warranty issues, but since then hasn't returned to fix anything. The issues that has continually came up with working with Valor Communities is disheartening and frustrating with buying our first home. We should be enjoying the home, but we cannot due to many issues.

    We appreciate your patience and we understand your frustration in wanting everything resolved so that you can enjoy your new home. Our team has been in communication with the homeowners to address their concerns. As of yesterday all warranty items with the exception of a drainage issue have been resolved. Next week we will have a landscaper out there to provide an estimate and then we will get the repair scheduled. The remaining addendum items, including the master bathroom cabinet, will also be addressed by our team next week.
