Horrible absentee management. The property manager has no authority to assist or help tenant with easy issue. She should. The company should also work with a long time tenant. 14 yrs or so. I have a medical situation, and on March 4 I was rushed to emergency surgery. I knew rent was due and called. I was not able to pay until I got out, on 7th. That is only a 10% fee, not 15%. AND I produced documentation and left at both local and main office. Have been to main office twice. I am not willfully "violating my lease agreement." The rent is paid, and I was literally unconscious in surgery on March 4 (just coincidence). They are overcharging and unreasonable. AND doing this to a long time tenant with a serious medical issue (need kidney transplant) who rarely receives any incentives to renew. I think in 14 years they've come off maybe ten bucks. Just greedy, greedy unreasonable uncaring individuals. And all they are concerned with is gatekeeping and dodging you at the main office. This issue is ongoing and I will return to main office. -***** ****

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention regarding the flooding incident on Sunday, April 27. We sincerely regret the disruption this caused for you and your child, and we understand how stressful and inconvenient the situation was.Our team responded to the emergency call as quickly as possible, and it was confirmed the flooding resulted from a water heater in the unit above yours. We acknowledge this was not due to any fault of your own, and were truly sorry for the impact it had on your home and peace of mind.We recognize the challenges you faced including property damage, temporary relocation, and the added strain of being without your belongings. While we were able to offer a corporate unit beginning Tuesday, we understand this did not fully resolve the disruption you experienced.Although our current policy provides compensation through temporary housing and encourages use of renters insurance, we recognize the financial burden this placed on you. In light of the circumstances, we have waived the 10% late fee and are applying a $200 rent credit to your account as a gesture of goodwill. We also apologize for the condition of your unit after repairs. This falls below our standards, and we are taking steps with our maintenance and cleaning teams to prevent it from happening again. We truly value your residency and appreciate your patience and understanding throughout this situation.Sincerely,***** ******

Sealy management only gives you one way to file an application for housing and that is through an awful biometric recognition system. I am attempting to use an ID that is VALID with a picture from about 8 years ago and their system will not recognize that I am the same person on the ***

I have lived at ************************** for over 23 years. I am not sure when this apartment building was built however I suspect the same carpet which is indoor/outdoor type is over 30 years old OR LONGER!! Recently I acquired a cat. My effort to be honest and declare such to the Local Management office including incurring the required pet deposit was meant with an astronomical unconscionable, outlandish fee of $450.00. Other residence in this building were charged between $350.00 and $375.00. I cannot in my right mind (which I am) understand the absolute RIP-OFF!!!!! I knew I'd incur a fee and in light of the fact Executive ***** has never replaced this carpet find it COMPLETELY unreasonable. I did request a variance as a long term resident and am willing, expecting to pay $375.00 having budgeted that amount. Its bad enough when groceries, gasoline and other purchases have increased, then having a Social Security EARNED monthly income to content with this asinine amount to pay, SO THIS IS THE THANKS I RECEIVE as a long term resident? I'd be embarrassed if I'd done that, its truly sad when companies like Sealy Realty only view tenants as dollar figures. Advertising about "caring" for their tenants is a HUGE pile of ****!!!!!!

We are sorry that you found the pet fee to be an economical strain when you registered your cat. The pet fee at Executive Lodge has been $450 for over a year, and we would have gladly explained the Pet Addendum had you asked. You have lived at Executive Lodge for quite some time, and we appreciate tenants such as yourself who make our apartments your home. The manager on site says that she has offered to replace your carpeting, but you did not want to go through the process of packing up your things at that time. Why dont we choose a date after the holidays and get that apartment carpeting changed out? We could also do some painting, replace blinds whatever we need to do to keep you as a valued tenant for another 23 years. Please call the office and lets make plans to improve your home.

I visited a property in Huntsville and after meeting the a wonderful leasing specialist who as an incentatiive expressed the unit would be updated with laminate flooring in main areas, hallway, and new carpet (bedroom) and appliances, I decided to apply, unfortunately that is where my nightmare began. After not hearing from anyone, I went by the leasing office and they claimed the company used to screen appliacnts sent a report to them indicating my SSN number didn't belong to me (this was absolute nonsense), I didn't have any negative credit, and no rental history, and all was on hold. I decided to speak with the Property Manager (a big mistake), about the issues as the leasing specialist was out of the office. The Manager was very rude and condesending. She kept curtly stating the company sent the info, it came from a particular credit bureau, and with smirk on her face indicated she beleived what it said and didn't need to double check the information, despite haveing my ID and SSN card on file from the application and was proof the information she got was not accurate and total nonsense. When asked she even indicated she hadn't checked the file to compare those items to the report, which would have vaildated she had gotten an inaccuarte report. Instead she kept insisting I needed to prove I live where I say I live, and get something from the credit bureau stating my SSN belonged to me before contacting the regional Manager for final approval because she just couldn't belive I some didn't have bad credit and no rental history (gusess she never had to approve someone who may have owned a home or lived with family). This smacks of discrimnation tactics. I have made several attempts to reach someone at the Sealy Corporate office about this issue, with no return calls to try and come up with a resolution with no luck,
