    On July 6, 2023 I hired Two Men and a Truck to move my belongings from one apartment within my complex (833) to another apartment within the same complex (117). The reason for the move was that I could not continue to climb stairs. In the process, the movers broke my $550.00 desk. I have called numerous times within the past two months, with no settlement for the damage. The last time that I called, I was promised a check in the amount of $60.00 within a week. I never received the check. It is obvious to me that all this business cares about is getting paid. They do not care to resolve any issues that may come up due to their services.

    I contacted the customer about the check that we were supposed to send her, she never received it.  This $60 is for the desk that was broken, she chose free basic valuation.  The desk was approximately 100 lbs is the reason for the amount of the check(basic pays out at $0.60/lb).  The customer agreed with this and was happy.

    I contacted ******* about the $60 check.  I emailed her on 7/25 for the damage payout and copied you on the email.

    I am so sorry - but apparently my fault. I seem to have set her up in Regions and entered into QBs which i don’t do until have I have set up payment thru Regions. However, even though i have her set up in Regions, i never entered a payment to her. 

    Would you like me to call her - and explain, mail a paper check or issue through bank today?

     I contacted the customer back and told her this was our fault completely, it was just an accounting glitch, and apologized and stated she should receive the check around September 18th.  She seemed ok with this and thanked me for contacting her.

    I am rejecting this response because:  This is the 2nd time that I have been promised a check but have not received it.  I waited until today to give an extra day for receipt.  In the area that I live, a week is plenty of time to cut a check, mail a check and receive a check.  I am yet to receive the promised check.  I cannot say this issue is resolved until the check is received.

    We have taken care of this issue.  She was issued a check for her damages and for some reason it was not sent.  I have contacted ****** and explained to her the situation, and we have another check sent out to take care of this.  She has been contacted and we are good to go now.
