      Placed an order for a 30x25x7 carport. They were real quick about taking the deposit and telling me that I should hear something from scheduling in about 3 weeks. Well I didn't. I had to call them and ask them about it and was told material is order and they would let me know when. Each time I called or emailed I got the run around about
      material on back order, waiting for more customers in my area so trip could be valid. etc. I looked them up on the BBB and found that most customers are still waiting to have their carport built and if or when it was finally built it was not built up to code or the customer was not pleased about how it was built. So based on those concerns an the lack of communication. I made the decision to cancel my order. I sent a letter to the PO box, to the physical address and I faxed the letter asking to cancel and to have my deposit returned. Faxing and mailing were all done on a Thursday. The following Monday I get a call from scheduling asking if they could schedule and I told her that I had cancelled the order. I received another call about scheduling that same day to which I told them again I had cancelled. Amazing they want to talk when I cancelled.....right.... Now I am fighting to get my deposit back because they are saying that I refused delivery which is a total lie. I sent an email on the 25th asking about the status of my refund which I was told that sales has nothing to do with a refund.... really they sure have a lot to say about the deposit in the beginning. Anyway I asked for the person who I need to speak to and I was given the sales manager. I sent them an email to which I was told that I refused delivery and a refund was not warranted. That is total **. I replied with I cancelled before they called but I have not heard back. These people are so sketchy and down right dishonest. They are stealing peoples hard earn money. I will continue to contact them until I get my deposit back. Even if I have to get my lawyer involved

      Please see the following email that was sent  on 8/26 to the customer.

       

      As stated in the terms on your contract, there are no refunds on canceled orders. I understand that you were given an estimated time frame however, estimated time frames are not promises of delivery as the sales representatives have no way of knowing when a building can or will be delivered. I have been made aware that our scheduling department reached out to you with a delivery date which you declined. We have done our best to fulfill your order, therefore, feel as though a refund is not warranted.

      If you would like to reconsider an install date, we would be more than happy to get you installed.

      I am rejecting this response because: I cancelled before you reached out to me for delivery. I felt you only reached out to me because I cancelled. Therefore a refund is warranted and expected.

      Parts left off structure i have called more than 18 times with no results customer service say parts are in but i cant get a install date since 12-5-21

      Our scheduling department is aware of the repair. At this moment, they are waiting for orders to get back to the area. The area is remote for our area so it's taking a while to get back out. I will have someone from our customer service department give *** ****** a call explaining the situation.

      I ordered a garage 1-23-2021. Paid my deposit and it is now 8-2-2022 and still no garage. I have been given every excuse under the sun. Maybe you can light a fire under them to build my garage.

      We purchased a steel building from big buildings direct in December 2020. They contract the building of the building with Coast to Coast Carports. It took them until Dec 2021 to build the building even with calls from me almost weekly. They finally got the building up but it didn’t pass the final. Things were left off the building that were on the plans. We informed them of the issues in Jan 2022 and are still waiting for them to come and complete the work. We are now going to be required by the building department to extend our permit. I don’t know how they stay in business. The people that work there have no idea what’s going on. They have returned a call once. None of the so-called supervisors have ever called back At one point I thought that we had been scammed. They won’t provide us with the materials that were left off the building because they say it would void the warranty. What a joke! It’s taken them going on 8 months to do about an hours work on the building. Don’t have much faith in them coming out to fix it if something goes wrong. I feel we have been more than patient with them.
