  Our loan officer was great- everything else was terrible. Took multiple calls to customer service to get wiring information- and was then told the safe way was to process online payments instead. When online payments glitched and we were charged a $50 charge we called 5+ times to get help. Their customer service- up to their service manager Alex was horrible. They do proactively reach out to refinance your mortgage- but lack in customer service and support. We have had two mortgages through them and cannot recommend using them based on our experiences.

  BOE Mortgage required us to deposit our roof claim insurance funds with them and they require an inspection to issue final payment. Shortening the story, they failed to schedule the inspection when requested and I spent time over the next 3 weeks trying to get it done. Then get my next mortgage state and there's a $45 charge for the privilege of that inspection. They had our money and earned interest on it over 6 months, then want us to pay $45 for something they didn't disclose and require, The person I spoke with is the person who failed to order the inspection and they won't allow you to talk with someone actually empowered to correct the situation. Won't be refinancing with them.

  Had a great experience working with them. I have closed multiple loans with Bank of England Wisconsin and the process was always smooth and easy. I would highly recommend working with Bank of England in the future as they have always had everything ready to go weeks ahead of time.

  Horrible. Lack of communication. Cannot meet a closing deadline. Unprofessional. Never will refer another person there. Run!

  The loan officer who contacted me didn’t even think twice before telling me that I will not be able to get a home anytime soon. After running a hard inquiry on my credit without my authorization, I am now having to work hard to gain those points back again. The representative, Jason *. gave off weird vibes, and seemed to be part of the red lining scheme.

  I'd give bank of england zero stars if possible there's a certain loan officer in the Cincinnati Ohio branch that's extremely rude and unprofessional I wouldn't finance anything from them

  I have mixed feelings about this mortgage lender because my actual broker was fine, although he got a bit behind on sending me things to electronically sign in time. The day of was a bit chaotic rather than exciting and celebratory. What makes me give this company 1 star is that they had my loan less than 30 days and sold it without notifying me that they were going to do so. Worst case happened in that they sold it to PennyMac one of the WORST mortgage companies ever. Had I known, better yet, had they disclosed that they were going to sell my loan to PennyMac, I would not have used them. I feel as though I have been deceived by Bank of England and will not hesitate to tell others as much.

  ZERO STARS!! Had the absolute worst experience as many have stated above and below. We were referred to a lender from this company and at this point, we are not even speaking to the person that sent us to BOE. They missed the closing date TWICE due to "underwriting" after already being told we had been approved and the close was GUARANTEED. Their word is not to be trusted, they are terrible at math and organization. We were asked for documents that were already sent and no other answers other than them blaming the underwriter. Also, they won't answer calls or will call after business hours. Constantly will say no more surprises and always have terrible surprises at the last minute. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL.

  My Name is Gus C***** and have nothing but the best process and experience by Bank of England Mortgage in Little Rock AR. My mortgage consultant Rick L***** throughout the whole process was on top of his game. He many years of experience and advice made it the least stressful process i have ever gone through. The key is teamwork, Rick always kept me in the loop and was quick about what he needed to have the least number of obstacles in the process. As a borrower we communicated as much as possible was needed and was a team effort and it paid off.
  Rick is very proactive and calm, very concise and the best most positive guy to work with, not only do I feel i had a great Mortgage Consultant, but I feel I made a good friend. He was above and beyond and trust me they will work for you hard to get the best mortgage loan you can get with the least stress possible. I absolutely recommend the Bank of England for anyone looking for a team will go the extra mile for you.

  Excellent lender! The MI branch is very thorough and knowledgeable. We saw some questionable reviews online about the company but come to find out those were for other branches in different states and most of the people that had the complaints are no longer with the company. Definitely a good choice for your mortgage!
