I Drove the car in because of a little ticking sound in the motor. I asked them would it be better to get a new motor or repair this one. The tech that looked at it said it was the timing chain and it could be fixed They quoted me around like 2000 or something. they started the work about 2 weeks later they said there is another problem. One of the part connected to the timing had a small nick in it and needed replacing another 900 ok. They said the car was ready a week later. My business partner ****** ****** ************} went and picked it up for me the car stop 3 blocks away and was smoking they had to tow it back to the shop. At that point they said the battery was the problem and they had to charge it and the smoke was oil burn off. I got back in town went to get the car i made it home about 4 mile away park for the evening got ready to go to work Saturday and the car stopped at my job and was smoking i manage to get home they towed it to there shop again on Monday i called them, on Tuesday April 16 and they are saying now it need a new motor and it will cost me 8100. So i go to have a tow truck take it to another shop because i don't trust them and they told me i cant get it unless i pay 300 more dollar for them having to tow it to the shop. I told them i want my money back they never fix the car. the owner *** i think his name is refused

Bill Jones brought his vehicle to us making an extreme amount of noise. We quoted him an engine or to do the top half of it engine. He chose the top half of the engine because it was cheaper. We did that. We had to replace camshafts because of the damage that he had done by driving repeatedly the car that was making that type of noise. We got finished we gave him the car back but unfortunately the bottom half of the car went down. He knew that chances of the bottom half and that's going out on him. That was one of the reasons why we quoted him put an engine in instead of just doing the top half. DJ says not at fault and will not be compensating him whatsoever.

In October 2023 my 2018 Ford Explorer went into DJs auto repair for a water pump replacement, which cost $3,200. After a week I got my car back and it drove normally for a few days. About a week later the check engine light came on and the vehicle felt like it was misfiring. I took it back to DJs after having my car back for a week. They checked the engine light code and they said that it had no open codes popping up. They told me clearing the engine light should fix the misfiring issue and if it doesn’t bring it back. Three days later I was driving into work when my vehicle lost all acceleration and the engine started making knocking sounds. I had to get the vehicle towed back to DJs. Later that day they told me the oil pump went out due to getting coolant in it. They also said I would need an engine swap that will cost me $8,000. Before taking it to DJs my vehicle never had any problems or any other major maintenance on it.

We did repair the challenges that Mr. ****** was experiencing.   He had a leak in his water pump.   We repaired that.   He didn't have a leak afterwards.

When he came back we found that his oil pump failed.   That is nothing that we did.   This is a common issue with ford.   I have put a few websites proving this.

I took my 2015 528i BMW to DJ's auto repair to diagnose my car on 8-16-22 . They told me they would check it out . It sat there at they shop 2 to 3 day before they got to diagnose the problem I was having with my car . After the third day they email me my print out of what they have found . The price was not in my budget range but I was going to go ahead and charge it so I talked to the service desk and told them to go ahead with the repairs . So after I got off the phone with the guy I called them right back not even 5 mins from talking to them to tell them to hold off on the repairs that it was alittle pricey and that I will be picking on car up from them the next business day and he said ok. Well that was Friday when I talked to him and I go on Monday to pick my car up and they tell me that the car pars are torn apart and that my car wasn't ready to be picked up . They started tearing down my car when I clearly told them on that Friday that I'm not going that route . Now they have had My car since the 16 of August and got my money but I still don't have my car put back together and when I call them they tell me a story or give me the run around . I want my car back like I dropped it off to them

*** ******* brought his vehicle in for us to diagnose.  We did that and gave him an estimate.   He approved the estimate and we started on repairing his vehicle.    His vehicle was in the bay and the tech was waiting on his decision.   We wasted no time in starting the repairs.   He did call back and cancel the repairs that he previously approved.  My shop foreman reinstalled all the parts that were taken off during the approval time.  We gave *** ******* a verbal warning and written warning not to drive vehicle because of the condition of the vehicle.   We did nothing wrong.  He picked his vehicle up.
