AVOID, DO NOT USE THEM! We had a problem with our baler and had them come out to see about repairs. Was charged $600 for the "looking at" not the actual repair. Still needed to be repaired and told to bring it in. Going from Morrilton to Plumerville was charged 1.28 hours = 15 minutes away max. Was told they had to sit and wait for an hour after their 2nd attempt to come out, UM went through the gate was not there, traveled to barn to get tractor upon return the technician was there (again doesn't take an hour). The first trip was rerouted due to a flat tire on our part (they didn't make it far from the shop). Then was told the diagnostic and "repair" was 1.82 hours. Yes they got the baler set on manual mode until it could be brought in but looking over baler to diagnose (which was found quickly), waiting to hook up, rake for 3 bales and baling 3 bales of hay does not take that long! They said they were there from 1:50pm until 3:45pm and no one that was present said that it took that long. Unfortunately no one had a stopwatch on them either. VERY disappointed in customer charge at $175 an hour for 3.0557 supposed hours to travel, diagnose a problem and set the baler to manual bale then to want even more money by bringing the baler in so they could actually FIX it.
After a phone call to service to understand the charges =
      Breakdown:
Travel - .029 first attempt to come out, wasn't told the 2nd trip to location time, 1 hour waiting (still DON'T BELIEVE see above), .2547 to return to the shop - charged $252.65
Repair - hooked baler up, checked pins, checked net wrap switch, checked net actuator, followed wiring harness (found melted area in tube of baler frame), cleaned debris from wires, set to manual, baled 3 bales on manual. 1.82 hours = $282.10 and told to come in for the actual repair.
      Service Accessories $16.01
      Environmental fees $3.00
Total Bill $605.00 and still not fixed. Disappointing day, bill is paid but a very upset customer.

We were notified of the issue and a ticket was created on 6/24.
Customer complaint was that the baler monitor was alarming and stating that net wrap did not cut. We started to go out to the machine and the customer called us back stating they had a flat and to not come out to the machine at this time. Our Technician turned around and came back to the store. At some point later we were asked to come back to the machine. Technician got back into his truck and went to customer. Per the technician when he arrived customer was not around, and the machine was not there. When customer arrived, technician helped customer attach baler to tractor. After that Tech began diagnosing the issue. He found a solution to allow the customer to complete the hay they needed baled but wanted to ensure that it could be completed. Customer then stated that he did not have his hay raked and would need to get that done first. Tech stayed to ensure that baler was working. After they baled three bales he left, and returned to the store. The bulk of our time in this machine was due to the customer causing or needing us to wait. We are more than happy to communicate with customers face to face or over the phone to answer questions or resolve these issues - we work with our customers daily in this manner.

As a disabled veteran, I recommend that anyone needing service AVOID this dealership. We bought a zero turn mower from them 3 years ago. It was used but they told us it had been serviced by them. We never had any major problems out of it until this spring. They called us offering a Spring Special where they were supposed to go over the whole engine and service everything, making it the best it could be. It never ran properly again. They took it back twice promising to make it right and make it run. We paid them over $2000 this summer for nothing. One of their mechanics left all of the bolts out of the valve cover, which caused major problems with the engine. There were broken parts inside of the carburetor which apparently were ignored. I actually have a list of things their mechanics either did wrong or lied about. The dealership took advantage of us and stole from us by treating us this way. And because they carry the name John Deere, they have the money to get out of any problems they create. If they care about their customers, they would not have treated us this way. Shame on you, Greenway Equipment. Shame on you.

I took a john deere e100 riding lawn mower that was having starting issues up to them and have checked out. I was told the engine was locked up and no good, they were going to try to charge me almost $1,100.00 to put a new engine on it. With a little research, I found out all it needed was a new camshaft, which you can order online for $30.00. I ordered the part and installed it myself and the mower runs like new again. I am disabled on a fixed income, I think it is ashamed that a business like this will try to take advantage of their customers in that manner.

We always try to communicate with our customers directly if at all possible on any and all issues, as our Regional Vice President did with you this past week. We contacted you for approval to go into the engine but you were not agreeable to that and therefore we were never able to get to the point of seeing the failure. As you know we refunded your service bill earlier last week prior to this review. We are glad that you ended up finding a simple fix and hope you have many more years of dependable service out of your John Deere Mower.
