This is the worst insurance company ever. They get away wit denial and not paying anything. I received a letter from them which it was very rude and they blamed me for the broken furniture. I provided pictures of broken bookshelf and they said nothing is visible. I sent it again. And there is no response from them. Terrible people.

Thank you for your comments. Anthem Claim Management (ACM) is a third party, claim administrator, hired by your moving company to process transit related damage/loss claims. ACM is not a mediator or an insurance company. Our role is strictly to process and review household goods, moving claims. Your claim was reviewed by a qualified analyst who recommended coverage consistent with the contract terms, including the level of valuation coverage you selected, and published exclusions. Contrary to your statement, your claim was accepted for the furniture item claimed, however items that you packed in containers are not eligible for coverage. This information was explained in your contract and in the settlement letter. You filed your claim on July 30th. Our associates acknowledged the claim on August 3rd, and it was reviewed on August 14th. Anthem Claim Management was responsive to your claim, which was reviewed and processed in a timely manner. If I could leave a lower rating I would. Anthem has been less than helpful in settling my moving claim. The company that moved us was even worse but, I can't mention their names due to being forced into an NDA because they held our stuff hostage. Anyway, Anthem clearly does not have the consumer's best interest at heart. They denied several of my claimed items because they couldn't read the mover's handwriting on the bill of lading. Whatever...I just want the pennies on the dollar you are awarding me. I returned the claim agreement form notarized and in the timeframe allowed. I still haven't seen my check. I call every few days and get no answer at Anthem. Can't leave a message either, it just hangs up. I did get through once and was told I need to contact the moving company for the check. Anthem is supposed to be the mediator. Why would I want to talk to the company that I am trying to get reparations from??? Word of advice when moving, folks...."never go with the cheapest guy". They are probably bad at their job and they hire cut-rate claim/insurance companies like Anthem.

Thank you for your comments. Anthem Claim Management (ACM) is a third party, claim administrator, hired by your moving company to process transit related damage/loss claims. ACM is not a mediator or an insurance company. Our role is strictly to process and review household goods, moving claims. Federal law allows an interstate mover up to 120 days to process a claim and make a settlement offer. Your claim was reviewed within 39 days of receipt by a qualified analyst, certified by the ************************************* (now the ***** The handwriting on the bill of lading was not a factor or considered in the review. The recommended coverage was consistent with the contract terms, including the level of valuation coverage you selected and published exclusions, as well as applicable federal law. You accepted and returned the settlement agreement on June 20, 2023, which was forwarded to your mover for processing and payment on June 22, 2023. Another copy was emailed to your mover in response to your complaint. As you are aware, all payments on claims are made by the moving company and not ACM. ACM processed your claim in a timely manner and promptly forwarded your completed settlement release to your mover for payment. Please follow up with your mover for an update on payment status.
