    I purchased on Jan 2nd a service from them to print out 6 copies of a journal/planner book I created. They said it would take 5 to 10 business days to print then ship, and provided me with an order number. Order no. *******. This cost me $148.32, and then with shipping and handling cost a total of $180.71. Since then, I left them 2 voicemails, 2 emails, and I have received not one response about the status of my order. It has been more than their promised time and not once have they attempted to call me or email me. If they can't honor my order request, then I want my money back and an apology from them and a call from them explaining themselves.

    On Jan.12, ********************** for a book (250 copies) I published through the Book Patch order #*******. I have tried to contact them through E-mails, Text, Phone calls leaving messages to two different numbers, No ONE will contact me.

    I submitted an order for 125 books to be printed (Order #*******) on October 15th, 2024. The file type I uploaded was PDF/X which is what is required per Book Patch guidelines. When I received the order there are 10 pages with unreadable text, as if there are several letters printed on top of each other. I submitted my reprint request immediately. I called several times leaving left 3-4 voicemails ***************) and emailed them at ************************************ I received no word back for 2.5 weeks. Very poor customer service. Finally, I was able to get ahold of someone and they started looking into my issues. They finally concluded after 1 month of chasing down the company that they would not grant me a reprint or refund because they printed the exact file I uploaded. This is 100% false. I uploaded a PDF/X file and carefully examined each page for errors. I found none. If the file was in fact incorrect, why was I not contacted so I could upload a new file? What file type was it then? Questions that Book Patch never answered for me. I consider this terrible business and outright theft. Once they get your payment, customers with valid concerns are ignored or fall through the cracks. After you submit a book order to Book Patch who knows what the end product will be and if it is incorrect they will take no fault for printing issues on their end. The only fault I will take as the customer is not fully vetting ********************** before entrusting them with my $2,800 in business. I hope my complaint protects other customers from the shady business practices of The Book Patch. I worked 100's of hours completing this book with my father, and this is the end result? A Better Business Bureau rating of F for The Book Patch is fitting.

    On 10/16/24, I ordered 20 books from Book Patch. I had previously ordered and received a sample book, which looked good. The 20 books I received on or about 10/22/24, however, were not as well printed. I had images in the books and ordered the enhanced black and white printing option, but the books do not appear to have been printed using that option. The images were much fainter and not nearly as sharp as the sample book. I contacted customer service by email on 10/26/24. I received nothing in response. I resent an email on 10/30/24 and received an email response that same day that said "I will look into this and get back to you." I have heard nothing since despite a follow up email on 11/2/24 and a voice message left on 11/4/24 (they don't appear to answer their phone). I requested the books be reprinted.

    Unpaid profit checks for self-published books printed and sold through the companys online bookstore. Last profit checked received was December 2022 and company is not responding to emails or phone calls.

    $174.96 in book profits should have been disbursed to me by the 15th of April 2024, but have not. When I sent an email query to make sure I should have been paid on April 15th, 2024, I was told "Hi.Yes, that is correct. Unfortunately the owner is going through some medical issues in the hospital and he is the only one that can authorize the payments to be sent. I have already pulled up your account and sent the information to the accounting. It is just waiting for authorization. --Thank you, ***** ********************************"Which, was not an acceptable response. It became more unacceptable once I found online reviews for MANY other authors stating they were also owed, and never paid. I saw reviews as far back as 2017 stating this. So this does not seem to be attributable to the owner's health issues, but appears to be their habit of deceptively doing business. I simply want the money I am owed for books sold on their site, and I'll never use them again.     We had the Book Patch publish our books and sell them through their online book store. We sold 346 books. They owe us ******* for book sales. They do not answer the phone or emails or return calls when a vm is left. I sent an invoice, but received no reply.

    I purchased a book from their website on May 8, 2023. I have not received the book, an email, a text or a call since that time. However, they did charge $ ***** to my credit card. Ive called their phone number 5 times over the last 7 days, but theyve never answered the phone. I left voicemails requesting that they call or text me, but I have never received any response.I would like a refund. I believe this company is an online fraud.

    I self-published using their site. They were supposed to send me money for books sold and for months have said they are having trouble with PayPal and not sending me my money

    Please check in to "The Book Patch" of ********** **. I have published with them since 2016 and this month I did not receive my author profit check via PayPal (expecting over $1000) I've been trying to reach them for over 2 weeks. I have called and left messages, emailed and tried reaching them through ********* I recently learned from another author that she has not received her profit check either. The Book Patch has been sending out mass marketing emails and FB posts trying to get people to order more and get more business, yet they won't respond to any messages or pay their current authors. They have now shut down their website so transactions cannot be viewed.
