    I would give them less than one star if I could. We purchased a house in October 2022 and they did the pumping and certification on the house while it was empty in June of 2022. We started having issues with the septic, and after having several other plumbing companies come out and auger the line, put a camera in the line and use a tracker in the line found there is an issue near the cover after my husband and the last company dug it up. I called and was told that ****** would call me back. She never did. I emailed as well and did not receive a call back. I called their office and ****** was rude and argumentative with me. I asked for a call back later in the day as she was "processing payroll" at that time and as she hung up the phone I heard her mutter something I couldn't make out. When she did call back, she was still argumentative and stated that they have no guarantees or warranties on their work. She then went on to say that our septic was done in the 60's and that we were lucky it was still functional. I told her that if the system is cared for, which this one had been until they touched it, it will work for decades! She argued with me that wasn't true. When I told her that the flow was backing up and that there is standing water in the pipes, she argued again. She stated that they would come out at $200/ hour to look at the tank again. I told her she was high. This company is a crack. They are unprofessional, rude and do not do quality work. DO NOT USE THEM! They have zero warranty, or guarantee. They barely do what they are hired to do and have zero customer service!

    Sunset Septic has displayed a high level of incompetence at doing septic tank inspections! They failed my septic system for the following reason "Septic system failed water test and a new pit is needed. We recommend a whole new system as tank is nearly 40 years old." They then quoted me a new $20k septic system, I was concerned about this response and got a second opinion from another septic company. The 2nd company quickly identified that there was a piping issue and that the system COULD NOT EVEN BE TESTED without making the piping correction. The piping was corrected and the system passed with no problem. I called Sunset Septic and spoke with the receptionist and informed her of the situation and requested a refund for their in-accurate and useless septic inspection that I paid $675 for. The receptionist told me that management would call me back to discuss. However management did not even return my call to hear my concerns, they only responded by email stating "I am sorry to inform you that we will not be refunding any money to you." This shows a high level of incompetence and scamming of the customer, it is obvious they are more interested in selling $20k septic systems than meeting the actual needs of their customers. I STONGLY RECOMEND THAT ANYONE THINKING OF HIRING SUNSET SEPTIC TO DO ANYTHING RE-THINK THE THE THOUGHT AND HIRE A DIFFERENT COMPANY!!!
