      I purchased the top down bottom up cellular shade for an outside installation and it arrived sooner than expected in good condition. The only drawback was that the brackets were not of sufficient size to allow for any wood trim around the window. I contacted customer service and was advised that there was no other size and to check with another company to see if they had any that would work, but they did not. My contractor made some adaptations to place behind the brackets and we were able to install the blind. It wasn't easy. I was planning to order additional shades in the future, but would rather find something easier to install.

      Ordered inside mount blinds before and was perfect Ordered 3 sets of vertical blinds from a live person on the phone that gave us instructions how to measure. We said we wanted blinds to open past sides of windows due to having new knotty alder window *****. Lengths were perfect but the width is not correct. Bad feeling now even after explaining what we wanted Just didnt happen. First bad experience out of 4 so far but may be last ????

      Easy install looks good and works as advertised . Price was also way less than national name brands and we were able to get the large width we wanted

      customer service is horrible! 2 out of the 7 motorized blinds that we purchased have not worked since they were hung. 5 calls into customer service and no resolution yet.

      It has been 14 days since my first phone call to Selectblinds. in that time frame I have called customer service 7 times and emailed 3 times with a supervisor. Who when I email her back, I get a warning saying the email has come to me from outside the organization. in the past 14 days, 2 separate tickets were documented from customer service on my behalf, we sent videos, details etc. of what was happening with the shades. Still no response on what to do from this point on. At every call I was told I would hear from someone within 24/48 hours, still no direction on what is to be done.On June 4th I opened warranty claims for the 2 shades. They are still pending approval. 1 of these shades never charged the motor from taking it out of the box, the other shade worked to go down and back up ONCE, then the motor seized and will not charge. I bought a complete house full of new shades from SelectBlinds and paid extra for the extended Warranty. I'm frustrated with the customer service and the lack of response. This is not hard to figure out, I was sent 2 shades with defaulted motors. that need to be replaced. My next step is to charge back my credit card for the charges of the 2 shades along with the price for the warranty.

      I have ordered numerous blinds over the past 5 years from Select Blinds and made 2 warranty claims that were both easy and they quickly replaced the blinds. My last order was for 3 blinds, one of which was not cut correctly and the no-drill track on another immediately snapped on install. I've contacted customer service 3 times through the chat function provided countless photos and videos of the defects and requested a refund for the two blinds. I finally received an email saying they would refund less than 1/2 of what the two blinds cost to which I replied with a copy of the original receipt amount and have had no response. Very disappointed.

      We received the custom order in a timely fashion which was nice. The fan-shaped shade fit as measured. There were no instructions included in the shipping box, but I was able able to go online to print them off. Additionally, there was an installation video I found on ******* which helped.The only issue I ran into was attaching the brackets to the window frame. To my chagrin the frame was metal, not drywall. I was unable install the metal screws as instructed. The only solution was to use Gorilla Glue on the brackets which worked perfectly. I might suggest that you mention this option in the instructions if there is a metal frame involved. I suppose the glue option would work on drywall as well for those who don't have a drill or associated drill bits.
