1 starThis is the worst company I have ever seen. They took my insurance money and never repaired my roof and the customer service is a joke they continue to lie and deceive you. They show up at my house right after the storm talking about a new roof and how they can file a claim with my insurance company and get me a new roof so with this company and adjustpro filed a fake claim that was not needed because my roof is just fine They are scamming people thinking they need a new roof and they genuinely dontNeRD

Hi *******, we did not submit an insurance claim on your behalf and have no interest in scamming our customers. Your comments raise a question for me though...if a claim was filed on your behalf to your insurance provided by a public adjuster, you would have had to approve that by signing an agreement for them to do so. If it turns out that it was a scam, then that would make you complicit. But like I said, we don't submit insurance claims. We simply do the roof work when customers request that we repair their roofs - whether that is financed, paid out of pocket or paid out of an insurance claim, that is not relevant to us as long as we get paid for the work we are contracted to do! If your roof does end up having damage that you would like repaired, please reach out and we would be happy to complete the necessary repairs.Review fromVictor C

No way this company rating is 3.6/5; It should be below 3 or 2 stars or possibly 0.We recently have issues with solar. The water heater, dryer and other appliances are not getting enough power. We called them to come out and check what's going on with the solar. The solars are under warranty. We scheduled an appointment with them; they did not show up. Took another appointment. Canceled in the last minute; the reason was a technician's family emergency. Scheduled again; no show. It's been a month; and not getting anything done. This company should not be in business.NeRD

Very bad business practices, lie, scam artist, beware, stay away from. I did not own a home and was never signed into a contract, but now I am being held responsible for thousands of dollars for breach of contract on solar panels. They are now going after the homeowner, whom they never even spoke with for breach of contract. Never even went over any kind of installation with the homeowner. We decided to go with another solar company. **************** NeRD is not for you, do not trust them. **************NeRD

Extremely poor business relations, rep came out to my residence to discuss the next step in replacement process on the home, Could not answer my questions and just kept cirumventing around it. and was very defensive on answering questions. NOT TRANSPARENT AND COMMMUNICATION *****, WHEN TOLD TO LEAVE BEFORE THEY GET THROWN OUT THE REP TOOK their time to leave and the rep mumbled a comment that was demeaning and was taken VERY PERSONAL AND WHEN I said excuse me he decided to stand toe to toe and wanted to fight rather than NOT SAYING ANYTHING AND JUST LEAVING and coming back at another time and day. HE CHOSE TO STAND TOE TO TOE AND FIGHT WHICH ENDED UP WITH BOTH PARTIES GOING TO FIST A CUFFS AND THE POLICE BEING CALLED OUT. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES I RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO USE THIS COMPANY, ESPECIALLY IF THE REP *** THIS WAY.NeRD

In that recording you expressed your apologies to our rep and the police for starting this altercation and hitting our sales rep. *** sales rep chose not to press charges at the time...if this is how you are going to thank him by slandering him and our company, then he should rethink that approach.Review fromJake B

Nerd Power is absolutely amazing! We installed solar at our house and immediately started saving on our power bill, which honestly we could barely afford til we installed these panels. Worth every ***** of the incredibly fair price of the system. ************************* was our rep. and he was simply wonderful. Walked us through the whole thing, did everything he said he would, and was WILDLY helpful when we eventually sold the house and needed info for the new owners. Couldn't possibly recommend ******* and Nerd Power more!NeRD

Very disappointing experience and we'll not be recommending nerd power to anyone. Signed contract in September 2022. They installed panels late December and were supposed to be operational in January 2023. SRP inspection failed because inverter was not working. Nerd power came relatively quickly to change it and SRP approved everything. Except that 2 weeks later, inverter broke again. The app was not working either and no one informed us we were off grid until we received our first SRP bill a month later. After having to call and inform nerd power of the issue, it took them over a month to get the piece and to come repair. We were told that they would install a more powerful inverter cause it was already the 3rd one they came to install. However, they never upgraded the inverter as we found out 4 months later and inverter broke again. Once again, no one contacted us to let us know we were off grid, again. When calling nerd power, no one knows anything. We were told weeks of wait to even receive the same new piece which is obviously not working. In the meantime, we are being charged $$$ from SRP while solars are not working. We are actually losing money instead of saving money like they promised we would installing solar. Total of month solar being install and supposed to be running 6 months, total of months actually working 3 months. No help or compensation were offered during these months being off grid.NeRD

*******,Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We see that you have spoken with our customer support. They have already received approval for your warranty claim from the manufacturer. It is very unfortunate frustrating when there are equipment failures. Though we are not the manufacturer we do advocate for you in getting these issues with them resolved as quickly as possible. We strongly encourage you to reach out to the manufacture as well to create added urgency. Reviewing your account history this is only the 2nd inverter failure you have had. We have requested to have an upgrade at this time, the other times we did not make that request. The primary reason for this being that it had only failed once up to this point. Our support team is working diligently in resolving this for you and you should be hearing from them within the week with updates and progress in proportion to the issue you are experiencing.Review fromMichael G

We were cautious about diving in on solar after thinking about it for a couple years. Nerd Power offered more than solar but whole house energy use reduction which we have appreciated. Our package includes Aeroseal for our ductwork which led to much more efficient heating and cooling. New thermostats were also installed, making it easier to control house temperature.We began the process in early February, expecting solar panels to be installed by June but they were installed in mid April and as of yesterday, fully operating! We passed every inspection on the first try too. Customer service has been great too. Every person who has come to the house or talked via text or phone has been helpful and polite - ****, ********* and others who I dont remember their names.Highly recommend!NeRD

We signed a contract in May, and as of December we still are not operational. Every single, promise and commitment that was made was not fulfilled. We were told that the work would be completed and we would be operational within 2 to 3 months which would make July the time this job would have been completed.We are still not completed and it has been a comedy of errors. We could not be more disappointed.NeRD

To our knowledge this has been the only issue during your project. Given that there is no written response in this review it is hard to determine if there are additional issues. My experience with Nerd Power has been a rollercoaster of emotion, to quote the great ***************. It has been a tale of two halves. I would give the first part of our experience 1 star. However, the team rebounded in the second half and delivered an awesome product. I would give the second half of our experience 5 stars.The first three months: 1 Star Review - The NerdPower team was unable to deliver the product they sold us, and attempted to charge us extra to install what we had originally purchased. We struggled to get in contact with knowledgeable resources that could help us make decisions and move the project forward. There were about 3 months of back and forth conversation before our project officially started.- Miscommunication everywhere. Wed have a conversation with one NerdPower team member, and it would be like the conversation never happened. None of the information was documented or relayed to the wider team. It was extremely frustrating.The next three months: 5 Star Review -Our experience turned a corner for the better when I called customer service. ****** took control of my experience and began moving the project forward. He was empathetic, organized, and put us in touch with the right people. Just what we needed to save our experience.- ****** connected us with knowledgeable leaders that could guide our decision making around the products we needed to complete our installation.- ***** from the installation team had significant experience in solar installation, and helped make key decisions on site.- The electricians that worked on our home were amazing. ******* executed a complex project to bend the conduit and hide it from view so it was not an eyesore on the home. *** and ***** were both amazing as well. They treated my home with care, as if it was their own. Their professionalism and attention to detail was top notch, and Im grateful for the work they did on our home.- ****'s communication was great the second half of the projectNeRD
