They call and won't stop spam calling. I block their number, they call with a different one. I ask to stop calling, they call anyway. Their telemarketers are rude.

Upon receipt of ******************** BBB Review, Town Square Energy immediately searched its telemarketing leads for any phone number associated with his last name and zip code and added them to its internal marketing suppression list to prevent future solicitation calls. Furthermore, Town Square Energy reached out to its contracted telemarketing vendors to address ******************** allegations and request that they add the phone numbers to their do not call list.Review fromTrisha C

Can I give zero stars? Town Square Energy didn't bother sending my charges to my provider last month, so this month I got slammed with a $600 bill that was for two months. Way to go helping customers save money. Anyone know a better provider? I am ready to switch.Town Square Energy LLC

In receipt of Mrs. ********** Better Business Bureau (BBB) Review, Town Square Energy contacted her via telephone to discuss her concerns. In speaking with ***********************, Town Square Energy advised there was a billing error that caused the previous months supply charges not to be included on her Utility bill and in turn were presented on her most current bill. Further, Town Square Energy offered *********************** a new fixed rate plan, which *********************** accepted. *********************** voiced her satisfaction regarding Town Square Energys resolution.Review fromEdward K

5 starsSo i'm new to the company. Just switched April 3, 2023 skeptical at first due to these negative reviews so i called the company right after i enrolled online. I was able to get a hold of someone within maybe 4 minutes after being on hold, no big deal. The person i spoke to guaranteed me the rate, no changes for my 7 months, but after it would increase to a default rate unless i made sure to change my plan or find a new supplier. (im from ** in Fairfield county) I used to change suppliers frequently but stopped paying attention to my bill when we bought a new house because it was "efficient". Until other day i noticed eversource is charging ****** cents per kWh, right away went online, found lowest priced supplier to be TSE at ***** cents. signed up and switched in 5 minutes online. I look forward to working with this company as my supplier, really only in it for the lower rate. If things go south i'll be back to update this review, but i have a feeling i'm going to forget i even chagned rates and enjoy saving moneyReview fromlori b.

complete scammers !!! The man stopped me on my way in to a store in my city & asked if i would like info & that if i were on disability or receive any assistance that i should look into them for electricity delivery!!! I have since received a ****** bill and i'm still being charged from my own electric company !! Do not stoop and talk to these scammers !!! 0 starsTown Square Energy LLC

In researching Ms. ******** Better Business Bureau review, it was found that she had completed an enrollment with Town Square Energy on July 13, 2022 to supply her electricity. ****************** opted for the variable rate, renewable energy option. Please be aware that ****************** was billed according to her chosen rate offer and her energy consumption. Further, her account is still active with Town Square Energy as she has not requested to cancel and the rate that she was billed was less than the incumbent utilitys price; however, the rate is subject to change monthly. Town Square Energy has also attempted to reach out to ****************** to discuss this matter; however, the calls went unanswered as well as unreturned.Review fromTanya D

I just received a call from Town Square Energy and was told I would receive a check to do what I want with it. I was ok with listening, but looked them up to be sure and found a c*** load of information on them saying it's a scam. I am also looking to save a bit of money but not if someone is going to scam me. The guy on the phone was nice, and explained that he was going to send me info and then put me on the line with some recording that wanted me to confirm all the info. While listening to the recording I checked them out and found all this. So I hung up the phone. Thanks but no thanks. Eversource has more then doubled out rates since August 1st and I have found that even with every light and appliance in our home energy efficient my bill more then doubled. In researching ************** Better Business Bureau review, Town Square Energy found that telemarketing contact was made with ************** on September 26, 2022, in an attempt to provide information regarding the Town Square Energy program and the right to choose an energy supplier. Please note that all Town Square Energy is a licensed energy supplier in *************, where ************** resides. Town Square Energy reached out to ************** via email on September 28, 2022 indicating the following: This correspondence is in regard to the review that was submitted with the Better Business Bureau for Town Square Energy on September 26, 2022.First and foremost, please allow us to apologize for any dissatisfaction this matter has caused you. Rest assured, Town Square Energy is not a scam as you indicated but rather a licensed energy supplier who provides energy supply services to thousands of customers in your area.We were able to locate the recording of the enrollment that was attempted (but not completed) and in turn, were able to retrieve your phone number to add to Town Square Energys Do Not Call (DNC) list in an effort to prevent any further telemarketing solicitation from our company.If you would like to discuss the matter further, please feel free to reach out to our ********************* by simply replying to this email.Review fromAnnette A.

1 starYou guys are lier's. I have tried calling emailing you and no response. It's almost like my number is flagged in your system to not answer. I have filled a formal complaint with utilities commission and have gotten an attorney. I have read all the dirty ways you have treated your customers. Did I sign up with you in 2021 when you called me offering a lower fixed rate and then Jan 2022 you switched me to an unfixed rate which I did not authorize or didi get the form you said you sent for renewal. A total scam! Never in my wildest dreams did I think my rate would be 4x what it was before I switched. Then they said in ******* it was double what I was being charged so I should feel lucky!Town Square Energy LLC

Town Square Energy (TSE) reviewed its records and was unable to find an account associated with this customer with the information provided. In an effort to discuss the concerns, an email was sent to the reviewer.
