This Company now does business as The RV Awning Company of Arizona and touts themselves as certified technicians for all brands. I am writing this review to help others know that this is not a reputable company. Although I was lucky in that I did not pay them anything, they still cost me a lot of ************ indirectly to fix unnecessary issues they caused. I brought my RV to them in **** for a problem that my awning would not retract properly, leaving a gap at one end when closed. After a 30-minute diagnosis I was told that I needed a new cover material because it was stretched. They said it would take a week to get in. It came in late, and I was told it was the wrong size. When they returned in 2 days, I noticed that the material was considerably lighter weight and lower quality than my original and not worth the $1000 quoted. I did agree but during installation, the techs could not adjust it properly and said the owner would come to fix it. It was left worse than my original problem. The owner came and tried to fix it for 2 hours. I was finally told I needed a new motor that would cost another $900, or I could buy a new awning for $3800. This was 3 days before my trip, and I felt I had to agree. While waiting for the owner to verify if he could get the motor in time, I decided to call the manufacturer to see if they had technical assistance. I was told that my issue was a simple limit adjustment. That's when I noticed that they installed the motor 180 degrees in the wrong direction during the material install, hiding the limit screws. After 2 hours, I put the motor in the correct way and adjusted the limits. my awning then retracted to the original problem condition. The tech told me how to adjust for that and it was fixed in another 10 minutes. Now I have to find someone to replace my original cover. If I wasn't technical, this might have cost $2000 or more that others could have paid for a 20-minute fix. Do your research before hiring this company.
