I am working with a ****** who has approved me for a home loan. However, my credit score is just shy from obtaining ***** money from **** or *****. It has been communicated to me to pay off the debt reporting on all three of the credit reporting credit bureaus, as well as to contact Valley Collection. Today, this evening I contacted Valley Collection and paid the debt off with my credit card. ****** communicated I will be emailed the receipt. Upon receiving it, I am to email it back to her with a photo copy of my driver's license. When they receive it, they will use the information to update all three credit reporting bureaus.However, when they received said information, they refuse to update all three credit bureaus, because I did not sign it. They did not tell me I had to sign the receipt received via email. I do not have a printer, to print a hard copy of the receipt, then take a picture of it, or, scan it back into my pc, and include it in an attachment to email back to them.Had I known they were going to do this, I would have never made the payment. After reviewing this complaint, we went back to the telephone recording, and it was stated two separate times by ****** that we would require the payment receipt to be signed and returned with the credit card transaction receipt. I will gladly play this recording back for Mr. ****** review if he would like to listen to it. We have not and would never lie to an individual to pay their account. Despite the fact that he has made these complaints and accusations of us lying, we have deleted the credit reporting as we stated we would do based on our policy to do so for military veterans.Initial Complaint

This is a duplicative dispute from this patient who originally filed a complaint in September 2024. There is a written contract between the City of Tempe Fire Medical and the patient (also the individual filing the complaint).We have a contract with the City of ***** to collect on their accounts which includes Fire Medical. We have received previous disputes and per the patient's request noted the account as disputed. We never received a request for a copy of the patient's signature for this transport. We have that on file and will gladly send that upon request. In this documentation we have personal identifying information and a photo of the patient which was deemed to match the person who was transported. This information also has not been requested and is on file if the patient requests it. We have also verified with the City of ***** that this is indeed still owing. We will continue to note the account as disputed per your previous requests but will continue to show this as an active and valid account. This patient continues to file disputes and complaints electronically as opposed to working directly with our office to resolve any issues he may have.Initial Complaint

Valley servicing sent a notice to garnish to my employer without contacting me in any capacity citing a loan that I did not take and have no knowledge of. This is unlawful. I have recieved no notice or communication from them via email or mail.Business Response

We believe that this complaint is a matter of mistake by the individual. Our name is Valley Collection Service, not Valley Servicing. In doing a search for Valley Servicing, they are a company that is based out of ****. The complaint speaks of wage garnishment, which is not something that we do. This is clearly not our company and something that will need to be addressed with Valley Servicing, not Valley Collection Service.

We have not been contacted previously by this customer. She had a utility account with the City of Surprise where she did not pay the final balance. She had a contract with the City of Surprise for utility services. Our contract is with the City of Surprise to collect on their delinquent accounts. We will gladly send validation of the debt upon request of the customer. We have not received any communication from the City of Surprise that this debt was erroneously placed. Our investigation also shows that the customer did reside at the ********************** address at the date of service that the account was assigned to us. Without any proof from the customer that she is not liable for this debt, we will not be able to delete credit reporting or close this account. We have verified with the City of Tempe Fire Medical Rescue that this is a valid debt. The patient refused to sign for the ambulance transport after he received it, so the ambulance worker had an RN sign for the patient because he had left the hospital grounds. A written contract is not required for an ambulance transport and was never requested by the patient from Valley Collection Service as this is the first communication we have received from him. If the patient wishes this to be noted as disputed on his credit, we will do so upon request. Any dispute information can then be investigated between us and the City of *****. We have sent multiple notices to this individual but have never received a response. There has never been a communication from the customer requesting a contract from us. The debt in question is from the City of **** where utility accounts are started over the telephone (oral contracts). If we would have received a request for the contract, we would have explained this. The City has confirmed that the balance is still due. I can provide validation of the debt upon request.
We are contracted with the City of **** to collect on their delinquent accounts. You had an oral contract with the City and we have a written contract with the City to collect on their accounts. We will not be deleting this account since we have confirmed that it is a valid debt.

I recently looked over my consumer report and noticed this collection. I have never done business with this company. I would like to have this removed from my consumer report. They are also in violation of 18 USC 8; I have no debt. Furthermore, this company violates my consumer right to privacy under 15 USC 1681b 2. According to 15 USC 1681(4), the company is also not permitted to report anything based on my information. Please have this removed from my consumer report. Many thanks!Business Response

The customer is correct that they did not do business with us, they had an account with the City of Peoria for water/sewer/trash services. We are contracted with the City to collect on their delinquent accounts. We have sent multiple notices to the customer without receiving any mail returns to make her aware of the account and did not receive any response. After not receiving communication from the customer after multiple attempts and waiting a full five months from our initial communication, we reported the account to the credit bureaus. We have reached out to the City of ******, and they have confirmed that the account is valid, still due and provided validation of the debt. If the customer would like us to send that information to her, we can gladly do so upon request. We will not be removing the debt from her credit and would request her to notify us if she would like it to be marked as disputed on her credit.Initial Complaint

In response to this customer's dispute, the contract that he had was an oral contract between him and the Town of Sahuarita for ********** Utilities. We are contracted with our client to collect on any of their delinquent accounts, so it is not necessary for a contract between the customer and **********************.
We have not had any communication with the customer despite the fact that he has been sent multiple notices to the address he provided to the Town. We also did not receive any mail returns from any of these notices, so we can only assume that our notices were received. Because he never reached out to us from any of our notices and we did not receive a phone number to contact him when we received the account, we were reliant on the customer to contact us with any questions he may have. He never made any communications with our agency,so we feel that his claim that we never provided the requested contract is false because it was not requested. If he had requested the contract, we would have informed him that it was an oral contract to start service with the Town.
We have requested validation of the debt from the Town of Sahuarita and they have confirmed that this account is valid and due for the amount assigned. If the customer wishes, we can provide this validation to him.Because the debt is deemed valid and we can provide validation if requested, we will continue to show this account as owing and continue reporting to the credit bureaus. If the customer wishes us to note his account as disputed with the bureaus, he will need to communicate that to us.
