On March 3, 2024, I submitted a 63 day notice of intent to not renew my apartment lease when it expires on May 6, 2024. My lease requires a 60 day written notice, which I have complied with. The property manger, *********************************, is demanding that I sign and submit a Notice to Vacate and agree to pay all remaining rent amounts immediately ($2131.35) by electronic transfer, cashier's check, or money order, to cover the April and pro-rated May rent and other charges. Per my lease signed on 2/27/2023, the pro-rated rent for April 2023 was due on April 5, 2023 and regular rent is due and payable on the first day of each month, commencing May 2023. I have made all rent payments on time and in full ever since I moved here in July 2019. ********************** is treating me as if I am breaking my lease by demanding an early payment of my remaining rent. I am willing and able to pay my April and pro-rated May rent on April 1, 2024 when it is due, but I am not able to pay it at this time as I will not get paid again until March 21, 2024 and I live paycheck to paycheck, supporting two adult children who reside with **** am requesting that Aztec Springs stop attempting to penalize me for not renewing my lease and allow me to pay my April and May rent as outlined in my lease (payment to be made on the 1st of the month through the resident portal). I also request that they acknowledge that the required 60 day notice has been submitted as required by my lease and that no additional Notice to Vacate is required.Thank you for your consideration of this complaint.

I applied at this apartment complex to rent a unit. I paid a $250 Refundable Security Deposit to hold the unit. After about a few days, I decided to rent at a different complex. There were multiple unsuccessful attempts at contacting them via their ************ number which just went to a call center and the actual complexs number which continuously went to voicemail. I continued to try to reach out after a week to see when I would receive my refundable security deposit back again with multiple unsuccessful attempts. Was told on at least 4 different occasions between the 2 phone numbers that they would call me back. When finally I called in and spoke with ******* who told me I would not receive my refundable security deposit back because they were not informed of my decision to not move in. Even though I had tried to call them multiple times after just a few days of applying. There was no where in the agreement that stated any stipulation to the refundable security deposit.
