Spent over $15k at this shop and they had the car for two months, and then we took it back two other times, only to get to a different state and have them tell me that they didn't fully tighten or even bolt in parts of my suspension, and left parts sticking out that tore up the boots, putting all of our lives in danger as we had to drive across multiple states unaware of the danger they had put us in. Complete negligence and clear lack of accountability.

I had a 1974 F250 running in great condition I drove it back from previous location moving to *******. Had a rebuilt motor I took to Engine Masters to swap out motor rebuild transmission and exhaust work a Bill of over $11000 gave them access to account and they took out over $4000 kept my truck for 6 months they installed that motor without consulting with me on condition or on any parts needed, they took all new engine components that were on motor and threw them in back of bed like trash and put old parts back on. Had it for 2 days and transmission failed. I asked where and who did it and could not provide me any information or itemized parts receipt. Took it back to them and had it for a week and engine blows out because they let water get in block, for a whole year after a lot of cursing on my part I still have not gotten any response, a Truck that I had plans for restoration and selling for $20-25000 is no longer financially able for me, they Butchered my Truck and have no Honor these are White Americans doing in justice and Shotty workmanship to the Public. One of their Mechanics **** tried to start a fight with me in front of manager in a wheelchair, the Fat guy behind the desk felt free to just access my account for money but didnt have HONOR enough to give it back. America is in shambles and retired people like myself suffer from dishonest People like Engine Masters automotive ??????

We took our 2017 ****** Tacoma to Engine Masters to replace the engine and was initially quoted $7k over the phone with a 7-10 business day turnaround. We ended up paying over $14k and the whole experience took over 8 weeks. Their communication is horrible, often aggressive, condescending, and unprofessional. We were lied to daily with promises that our truck would be ready by the end of the day with no actual call back. However, we would get calls that additional work was required if we wanted them to honor their warranty. We took our truck to another auto shop immediately after leaving Engine Masters to have their work checked out and that shop found missing screws and bolts, exhaust leaks, pinched hoses, wiring not tied down. Start up was noisy with black smoke coming out of the tailpipe, several codes not resolved, and a high pitch noise coming from the drive belt. None of these issues existed prior to bringing it to Engine Masters. A warranty is only as good as the shop that stands behind it and the work done the first go around showed their lack of care, attention to detail, and integrity.

I took my car to them for check engine light and stalling. They came up with EGR valve, spark plugs and injector cleaning 1369$ ridiculous but I saw the shop and figured expensive but they must know something I didn't have time to deal with it. I get my car back 8 days later same problem still check engine still not running right. I run the code and watch ******* figure out it's knock sensors cost me 100$ for both and I'm not a mechanic. Moral of the story I wouldn't let these guys work on my bike terrible place.

My wife and I are a disabled senior citizen couple currently traveling the ************* living in our motor home with our two dogs. The engine in our motorhome blew up, and left us stranded in triple digit heat in *************** with little resources and not much hope. After many, phone calls I finally found engine Masters to replace the engine in the motorhome. My wife has heart disease, I have had 16 surgeries therefore physically we are very compromised. A local NONPROFIT charity heard our story and offered to help. A very long story short... they have now had our motorhome for 3 weeks, bled us for $7,600...and still our motorhome is smoking like mad, and the exhaust manifold came apart after 6.3 miles! I am on my third trip back in the morning, to pick up our motorhome, after almost $10,000 in expenditures motels ETC. at this point we literally have $0 left for our travels, fuel, groceries prescriptions etc. I can only pray to God almighty that when I load my family in the motorhome tomorrow, and head out in triple digit heat that we don't end up left for dead somewhere, after paying $7,600 for a motor home that isn't running anywhere near the way it should or could be! Stay away from this place as if you were avoiding COVID or the Plague!!

I've spent about 8 thousand dollars for a poor job of a engine and ripped off on up charging on parts that are cheap. Took advantage of me, had to take my truck to other spots to get it done right. I would never do business with these guys again with their track record. I regret everyday on stupid I was to take it there.

NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING UPFRONT AT THIS SHOP!!!!!!!I wouldnt bring my pedal bike to this place to get worked on.They have very shady malpractices. They originally quoted a USED engine install for $8,500 out the door. Once the engine arrived they called and asked for $2,400 more and said the original quote didnt include the engine install. Once they removed the engine they called again and wanted another $2000 in parts for the USED engine they were installing. After the job was completed and picked up the vehicle it made it 2 miles down the road and the camshaft position sensor fell off the engine! Brought it back and they laughed about it and put it back on.***** keeps going into limp mode ever since and have had to tow it back to them 4 times!!They have continued to say that electrical issues arent on them and that its not their fault. All they have wanted to do is put used sensors on it from one of the hundreds of engines they have laying around in their yard. After that didnt fix it they tried saying it needed a new *** and wanted us to pay $1,100 up front. NEVER EVER PAY FOR WORK UP FRONT WITH THESE GUYS!!!!!I told them several times that it has to be a pinched wire and **** said you dont know what you are talking about you arent an electrical expert. They even brought an electrical expert to their shop to look at it and even after he determined it wasnt the *** they still wanted us to put a new *** in it.We finally decided to bring it to ************************* and they determined it was indeed a pinched wire on the harness from the engine install and to fix it they had to remove the intake manifold to get to it as well as a faulty AC refrigerant sensor which cost another $1,800 dollars!ALSO: the engine they installed came with 0 documentation and when asked for it all they say is we buy all of our engines from warranty companies they dont come with any paperwork

Well Ive removed my truck from engine masters after 9 months of a 30 day quote .. never finished and butchered my truck and having a different shop - fix and finish the mess they created and double charged and left off parts and damaged wood bed by leaving it out in the weather and paint chips in several areas..never been looked in the eye and be told bold lies over and over the truck is now unsafe to drive if it even runs again steering column and brake pedals are at a angle- tilt steering now tilts sideways not up and down had to pay double or leave and walk away due to illness and family issues and moving out of state ..Im now way over my head on a 31 **** pickup and probably another ****** in damages had to cut my losses and leave - but dont ever want anyone getting screwed off from these worthless people.. still considering our options. Documents and photos are being taken by different shop & will be contacting my attorney.. this place needs to be shut down.. Im only one of many they took advantage of .. cancer survivor and was doing treatments and dealing with this shop has taken its toll on my health and my recovery has definitely been effected

I got my vehicle repaired my engine went out. intially when I called to get an estimate they quoted me one price said ok and let them know I would follow up. I had my uncle who lives out of state call and he was quoted $2000 less that I was (mind you I'm a women). I went in explained my uncle called and they agreed to do it at price they quoted him i paid half of the quoted *****. My car was towed to the shop and sat about a month. When the repairs started they called me it was right before new years the manager called me about 3 times saying the found other things wrong and I agreed to have it repaired. Each time the called and I agreed to fix what they found I paid half of the cost for each repair. When they finished the vehicle I was at work I got a text message and I let them know I was at work but would come first thing in the morning to pick up the vehicle. They manager sent rude text to my phone demanding I come in that day and if not I would be charged a day for storage. When I arrived first thing when they opened they told me to send the payment via PayPal using friends or family I sent the payment and then as I'm signing papers with the lady at the front the manager comes back and says it was short. I think he did instant deposit and then wanted to charge me the fee he was charged for using the feature. Once I sent the additional funds he left the building. The lady at the fron said had spoke to him the day before and he said he did think I had the money for the final repair cost and he would be stuck with the vehicle. I don't know if it was because I am a women or because when I came in he saw that not only was I a women but a black women that I didn't not have the money. The original quote was around $5000 I ended up paying alittle over $10,000. When it was all said and done. I would just warn women to be cautious when going to the place and avoid it if possible.
