they should be shut down. I have a 2023 q50 with 22k miles on it. My sunglass holder trim piece fell out while driving and I knew going into my appointment with them it should be covered under basic warranty. They told me after 30 minutes that it was broken and it wouldn't be covered to take it back to where I bought it. Why is it that another infiniti was able to get it covered under basic warranty and coulter infiniti wanted me to pay out of pocket? The service advisor I had was a walking red flag saying multiple things that just weren't true but I already planned on calling consumer affairs after leaving to try to resolve the issue. I work for ****** so I'm aware of certain things like how warranty works and good will claims etc. I was more upset when consumer affairs didn't actually investigate the issue at hand. If they did this to me how many other people are they scamming who don't have knowledge and don't know resources to reach out to?

We understand the frustration that comes with any issue on a vehicle, and we truly empathize with Mrs. ***** concerns. Knowing that she is affiliated with ****** makes this situation even more unfortunate, as we would expect an understanding of how warranty coverage is determined.After thoroughly inspecting the issue with the sunglass holder, it was clear that the component did not simply fall out it was broken. As such, this type of damage is not considered a warrantable concern. To ensure accuracy in our assessment, we also contacted Infiniti directly, explained the situation, and shared Mrs. **** concerns. Based on the condition of the part and the guidance we received, we were advised not to proceed with a warranty replacement.While we regret that we cannot fulfill her request under the warranty, we remain committed to transparency and professionalism in all service matters.
