I have written three times to the Global Direct Marketing. The following is information that I have written. I have not had a single response. When I finally got through to them on the phone after many many calls they were the ones that told me to write it down and gave me an email address. I am not getting credit notices from AT and T!Good Morning- I spoke with you on the phone several days ago in regards to the AT and T early termination fees they are trying to charge at the rate of $515.40.Here is the timeline:-Signed up at State Fair in ********* on Sept. 2 with ******************************* -They came to install around noon on Friday Sept. 16 (2 weeks after they originally said they were coming)My mom was here as I was teaching. -When I arrived home at 5 and checked things out I realized the phone line had been cut they also installed the dish not in the place where the other one was or even near- out of sight but it was dead center in the middle of the roof on top! - I called right away from my cell about the phone line- they told me it was the weather- sunny day. - I called two more times that weekend once on Saturday afternoon and again on Sunday morning indicating my unhappiness and that I was at first considering canceling and then what steps i would need to be taking to cancel. ********* was out here to fix the phone line at 9 a.. on Sunday Sept. 18 (No Land Line all weekend) By 10:30 a.m. all of the AT and T equipment was out and ******* was back in. The phone line was repaired. - I called AT and T again to see what I needed to do to pack things up and send them back. - Items were all sent back that week. I have called AT and T on at least 4 occasions in the last several months and your company several times as well. I have spoken to 3 different supervisors at AT and T. I have asked that they pull the phone calls from the weekend of the install. They say they are charging me the early termination fee because I am out of contract. They said they cannot because the calls are for training purposes only. If this is true why when you call does it state : Calls are recorded for quality. This should not even be a discussions as all items were disconnected from my house in under 48 hours. They can hear my unhappiness in the calls from the first conversation. Your company (******* ) Told me at the fair that I had a 7 day Trial period . This is not accurate! When I did call your company at one point a ***************************** called back and left a message but did not leave a phone number. I left a number of messages for him on the general line but never heard back. I also did cancel within the first weekend and all items were back to them. They have the day of Oct. 17 as they put it through the first biling cycle. They even billed me an automatic billing for this. I will not pay $515.40. This is a service I have not used and is something that has taken a great deal of time and energy to deal with. It is interesting to me that when I did talk to the supervisors they note that they had all the of the equipment back well before the end of the first billing cycle. This makes NO sense to me. Thank you for working to help resolve this issue. The account number is ********* Thank you for getting this issue taken care of!*****************************
