In October, we took my then girlfriend now fiancee's car in to deal with a tire repair. They fixed that and detected low oil, she paid for an oil change. I went to change the oil on Fri 1/3 and the Drain Plug was overtightened to the point the I was unable to get it off with normal tools (6 point 17mm socket and socket wrench). We took the vehicle to ********** and they were unable to get a socket on it either. My fiancee took the vehicle into the location on the morning of Sat 1/4 and was met with a dismissive attitude from the manager who claimed that neither I nor the ********** manager knew what we were talking about. I have changed my own oil for years and the only time I found the drain plug overtightened was when a mechanic got too sloppy with an impact gun. The manager implied that if they replaced anything they would be charging for it. As far as I'm concerned I'm steering business away from those clowns.

This is not the customer who authorized work to be performed, this gentlemen has been banned from the location due to his verbal abuse and threats of harm to employees.

I got 4 new tires l, which cost $379.99 which I agreed to pay for. I got a full synthetic oil change for $49.99 which I agreed to pay for. I got an alignment which was $119.99 which I agreed to pay for. There was no mention of there being a $95.96 fee for mounting the tires. There was no mention of a $39.96 charge for Nitrogen to fill the tires. There was no mention for $30.00 charge for a TPMS rebuild kit. This is $165.92 that I did not agree to pay. When I asked ***** (the employee) what was up with all the extra charges. And he just said "that's just the way it is". I did not give consent for them to fill my tires with nitrogen when they can use normal air. I did not give them permission to replace all of my tire pressure sensors and charge me for it. I did not give them consent to charge an extra $95.96 to mount the tires. I would have gone somewhere else. I just want the $165.92 refunded for the services I did not agree to, nor was I made aware of. I have no issue paying for the tires, disposal fee, oil change and alignment.

The customer was aware of the items on the invoice, we offered to remove the Nitrogen and he declined to remove it, we did not replace all of the **** sensors, they were rebuilt. The install cost is part of every tire purchase, there is no option to have us install tires and not charge to do this. The customer signed the final invoice accepting all items on the ticket. We are willing to refund the nitrogen charge, but nothing more.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 01/07/2025

That is a complete lie about offering to take the nitrogen out and refund it. That was not offered to me whatsoever. I was told the paperwork I signed was "to give permission to work on my car". They did not go over any of the additional charges at all when signing the initial paperwork. They did not talk about nitrogen, they did not talk about an installation fee, they did not talk about have to rebuild the tire pressure sensors. I have purchased new tires many times at other businesses and this has never been a charge. Had these charges been brought up from the beginning, i would have taken my business elsewhere. I was warned about going to this location from my significant other, but I said "oh it's just tires", yet here we are. I should have listened. They were intentionally deceitful about all of the additional charges and were unable to provide an explanation for the reasoning of the extra charges, and why they weren't brought up from the beginning. I do not accept a refund of just the nitrogen, I still want a refund of the original amount I requested. Those charges were never discussed beforehand and were purposely bombarded on me at the end.
